    There is no need to remove the grill. Drivers side you can reach in and remove the cap and bulb, Passenger side remove the air box and do the same. very easy

    I think I will just install auxiliary Hella lights on the front bumper for the extra punch in case I need the extra illumination

    Hey guys i noticed in the mopar catalog you can buy the factory led headlights to install into a JL wrangler that did not come with the LED group, do you know if they are plug and play or do you need to go to the dealer to get them programmed after install. its a whole headlight assembly replacment not just a bulb. maybe a video thanks

    So, comments suggest that the LED goes L/R with the word oracle on top. But they also say High beam on the bottom, with our power how do you tell? Thanks

  • @Ballista762
    @Ballista762 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why when you can get LEDs from the factory? Oracle lights last less than a year I had Oracle Halos on my Pontiac G8

    • @78moleyman
      @78moleyman 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The LED upgrade from the factory is pretty expensive, and if you didn't get that option, the oracle headlight bulbs are an inexpensive way to get a good lighting upgrade!

    Hi guys, I recently purchased a 2019 JL with the stock halogen lights. I'm shopping around for an LED kit was wondering if I'd have to change the headlights or simply just the bulb. I read that it's better to change the complete lights assembly to LED instead of just installing an LED bulb. Only changing the bulb isn't the best option because of the lens inside the assembly. The bulb but won’t be as powerful as changing the light assembly to a led headlight. Is this true?

    • @Johnnyc0822
      @Johnnyc0822 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not professional but I did looked into lots of videos. I think what you are concerned is resolved by those resistors [the little rectangle bits he tucked in]. There were some LED installations I've viewed, they need to buy those resistors separately to avoid issues. That way you dont need to buy the entire lamp. And I dont think the reflectors are worse than LED lamps as they were suppose to house halogen, which have a lower lumin power.

    How dose the heat sink on the LED dissipate heat if it is sealed in a waterproof headlight housing?

    • @CJBroncoF150

    These light bulbs are bright but only lasted just long enough to pass the warranty period. Had to replace one after two years. Luckily they only come in pairs because the other went out less than a year later.

    It’s people like you who blind other drivers on the road with this bs “upgrade”. You want a true upgrade? Get projectors. So you don’t become a road hazard.

    • @78moleyman
      @78moleyman 6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      These bulbs use the same housing as factory, projecting light in the exact same manner, just brighter and more crisp. If you get blinded on the highway its normally due to improper headlight orientation.

    • @AngelRodriguez111
      @AngelRodriguez111 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Factory housing isn't designed for an LED bulb thus why its dangeous as it scatters light into oncoming traffic. LED bulbs require a smaller reflector housing or a projector.

    • @wahidhadi764
      @wahidhadi764 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Angel Rodriguez exactly. There’s a reason why we have projectors. It has a cutoff which makes sure the led or whatever bulb you’re using doesn’t scatter above what’s necessary.

    • @phillipcraggs6202
      @phillipcraggs6202 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hate projectors, the cutoff is so drastic on my Fusion that there is no illumination on road signs. That's dangerous.

      The LED head lights has to be properly adjusted using a optical method .. that is right & safe way ...
