Got the X and tested for FPV fishing today, it’s great! Picture is super clear. I’ll probably pick up a second one if that tells anybody looking anything
Great comparison video - The V50 Pro still takes the cake for me even with the better EIS on the 50X. The V50 Pro just has so much more depth, sharpness and accuracy to it than the other two and the internal mic is still very decent.

V50X, that very bright picture is just grainy and overall bad View: 1. V50 Elite 2. V50 Pro, just a little bit narrower, but not really worth mentioning 3. V50 X a lot narrower, probably because of the good stabilization In summary choose the V50 Pro if you have a bit more money left, and don't rely so much on image stabilization. If you do a lot of shaky stuff choose the V50X. Don't even get near the V50 Elite for that price. Greetings from Germany ✌️

In my opinion the v50x is the best with the lowest price among the three Akaso cameras. I will make this video a comparison before buying an action camera from Akaso which I will use for Motovlogging. Thanks, Redskull.
Based on your review, I bought the V50X. I have to say the sound on my camera is just fine. The first camera I bought had a really bad green tint and returned it. The second one was a bit better but I just think this camera doesn't do well under fluorescent lighting. Not a big deal since most of my videos will be fishing videos. Very happy with this camera. Thanks!
I like the stabilization of the v50x. I just bought it. I’m figuring with some video editing I can adjust the colors and picture! Will be my first motovlog setup. I also got there external mic as well
For me, the Pro version's evening filming, shows good, true to colour grass green, and stonework on buildings, but shows discolour of the tungsten lighting, showing an orange glow. Though, (for me), a choice of camera would be the one which ticks the most boxes for my needs; I.e; External, and internal mic, with good recording, or sound, preferably first without the external mic, like the Pro version you showed. I also prefer to feel a rubberised camera covering, as opposed to a plastic one! Keep up the good work!

Always the best reviews and comparison reviews on the internet let alone TH-cam. Thank you for you hard work and honest reviews...great job!! I'm going for the V50X because I like the overall features and capabilities but in particular the EIS because my primary use is taking videos riding my 4 wheeler over bumpy terrain. You helped me make the best choice for my needs and helped me from being let down if I were to buy one of the 2 other models.
Great comparison ! The pro has the best audio and video quality, the x has the best stabilization and the Elite you could say SUCKS ! Overall the Pro is the best but you would need a gimbal... Like you mentioned before the yi 4K+ would be a better buy.. Keep up the great vids 👍
v5O pro has the sharpest and best colour, best overall picture quality but V5OX has the best image stability and the only one that can capture most light at night but its IS was getting jerky at night as if the processor couldn't keep up, with V5O pro and V5OX about the same price now, I would pick the Pro.
I ordered the V50X and expect to get it next week, before seeing this video. My 1st action camera and will probably end up buying a more expensive brand. At 1st I thought how great it was that I didn't see this comparison before buying it, but at this point I believe I would have chosen the V50X anyway after seeing this video, or gone with a more expensive brand.
Hi, to ride to some Enduro trails on my bicycle, wich one do you recommend? i like the stabilization of the X but the image cropping i don't know, of course don't want to spend on a GoPro
EIS is very important to me and hands down the V50X takes the win!!! Amazing gyroscope plus image stabilization in 2022 its even updated to have both together.
Unfortunately we just bought the v50 elite but we are happy with it for the purposes we intend it's for but definitely wish I would have seen your video before purchasing! Geat video 👍
Great video! The side by side by side comparison was super helpful. Thank you for this. I was leaning toward the V50X, but now considering the Pro. Tough call because each one has good pros and equally poor cons.
Do these cameras have the ability to set ISO manually? I would like a comparative test at night of these cameras with different ISO settings. The video shows that the V50X brightens the night too much and I would like to see how it works with the ISO100-200-400 settings
Elite was realistic and crisp. Others look ok but a little muddy looking (yellowish) on day and night video. Overall all cameras are great. Thanks for your review on 3 exceptional action cameras.
I bought the V50 Pro and im pretty satisfied on its performance EXCEPT! when your are taking a video on a not so lit up area. Video is very dark. Well, nothings perfect. But overall! I have no regrets. Video Quality on daytime is great. Internal mic is working very well. Also the Pictures quality is really good. Good Job V50 Pro! Goodjob AKASO.
Well done comparison! For night video, the V50 X looks like the ISO was pumped up higher than the other two cameras - that would account for the brighter image and the resulting horrible image quality. Also, for the night footage, the V50 Elite looks like it has a better lens, judging by the better starburst on the city lights. All three cameras have the smallest, cheapest digital sensor available, so don't expect too much low light image quality from any of the three. Thanks for making this video.
Did you install the latest software upgrades before doing your tests? I bought a V50 Pro and after installing the latest software upgrades it made a remarkable difference in picture quality, IMS and color. My only gripe with it is that the largest memory it will use is 64GB.
I've some news about reduced internal part quality on the V50x models manufactured in 2023. Do you know if the reduced quality of the V50x puts these other cameras back into the lead now?
Indeed the v50 Pro to my eyes, viewing a 22.5" widescreen, had the best image just as you described "the colors seem to be closer to reality" "..footage seems a bit sharper...". The sound is the best of the bunch too. I wasn't sure at first about the location of shooting .... then the drug store appeared. 😉 Great video review sir! Have a blessed day. 🙏🏽
Redskull, you just broke my heart: I bought the Elite just before I came across your video. I only intend to use it for underwater filming so it'll be interesting to see how it operates in that environment. Thanks from Australia.
Excellent Test! Agree totally with your assessment. Everything on the Elite looks gray. The X has the best stabilization, the PRO has the worst. The color is best on the PRO. Decided to go with the PRO. Don't expect to be moving with it a bunch.
I want a helmet cam for the range, I only go to the range during the day and with it being mounted on my helmet I sort of need the remote to trun recording on and off. There is so much to worry about at the range with not only safety checks but there is ear protection, eye protection, and so on that the last thing I need is to fumble around pressing record on top of my head. With that being said, I think I will be mounting the V50X on my weapon and body mount! Should be pretty interesting to see how the IR lights work with these at night!
Which one do you recommend for recording continuously for 2hrs? EK7000 overheats and the plastic inside deforms so much the battery won’t fit anymore. Don’t not get EK7000 if you plan to record for a long time.
Best camera comparison video ever. Thank you for this outstanding review video. Most likely I’ll be ordering the 50X. Liked and subscribed to your channel.

I have no regrets. Video Quality on daytime is great. Internal mic is working very well. Also the Pictures quality is really good. Good Job V50 Pro! Goodjob AKASO.
Thanks for the reviews. For my fishing videos, I decided to go with the V50X.
Glad I could help!
Thank you, this video was very useful in deciding which Akaso to purchase. I have decide to get the V50 Pro.
Thanks for checking out the video
how about V50X for motovloging????
It’s great... get the external microphone from akaso if you want good sound
Thanks for checking it out!
Did you install the latest software upgrades before doing your tests? I bought a V50 Pro and after installing the latest software upgrades it made a remarkable difference in picture quality, IMS and color. My only gripe with it is that the largest memory it will use is 64GB.
I agree. 64GB of storage isnt what it used to be. You can fill that card up easily.
The best video from entire TH-cam. Thanks a lot for this one!!!
Help me to decide my aquisition!!!
Glad I could help!
@portimho199 which one you bought
Just picked up the V50X for $80 new. A steal compared to multi generation old Go Pros for $200+
I've some news about reduced internal part quality on the V50x models manufactured in 2023. Do you know if the reduced quality of the V50x puts these other cameras back into the lead now?
Yes, the X seems better with stabilization.
The Pro more colorful and sound is a bit better.
Great job, Alex, well done. 😆
Hard to choose the best camera :) they need to make a camera that gets all the best qualities from the 3 cameras and combines them into one
I'll choose v50 pro.. Because of the audio and colours...
What about underwater? Which one performs best?
Excellent review... I decided on the Akaso V50X thanks for the review.
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
Great comparison video ! Definitely the V50x. I can deal with what it lacks. That’s the one I’m gonna buy. Thanks so much for your work on this. !
Thanks for checking out the video!
Hello. Which of the 3 in your opinion is more suitable for kitesurfing?
Does the elite, at 4k 60fps, make the better camera than the v50x or v50 pro?
No, the 4k60 footage looks like 1080p
Indeed the v50 Pro to my eyes, viewing a 22.5" widescreen, had the best image just as you described "the colors seem to be closer to reality" "..footage seems a bit sharper...". The sound is the best of the bunch too. I wasn't sure at first about the location of shooting .... then the drug store appeared. 😉 Great video review sir! Have a blessed day. 🙏🏽
haha, KW, ON, Canada :)
Redskull, you just broke my heart: I bought the Elite just before I came across your video. I only intend to use it for underwater filming so it'll be interesting to see how it operates in that environment. Thanks from Australia.
Many of these cameras get updated over time even thou they look the same. Hopefully the Elite has been improved since this video
Among these three, Akaso V50 Elite VS Akaso V50 Pro VS Akaso V50X, which one is the best ?
Excellent Test! Agree totally with your assessment. Everything on the Elite looks gray. The X has the best stabilization, the PRO has the worst. The color is best on the PRO. Decided to go with the PRO. Don't expect to be moving with it a bunch.
thanks for watching! The Pro has the cleanest video for sure. Too bad they can't make a camera that has it all
Alex, great videos, thanks for sharing, happy day!!!
Who is better for underwater video ?🙏🏼
i didn't take any under water...so I couldn't tell you
Redskull answer me with your experience, which do you think is better
Which one do you recommend for recording continuously for 2hrs? EK7000 overheats and the plastic inside deforms so much the battery won’t fit anymore. Don’t not get EK7000 if you plan to record for a long time.
So sir, if I may ask, what is the best "cheap" camera with great EIS in your opinion? Or it could be any other budget action cam brands?
Akaso V50X and Akaso Brave 6 Plus
Redskull thank you!👍🏼
Best camera comparison video ever. Thank you for this outstanding review video. Most likely I’ll be ordering the 50X. Liked and subscribed to your channel.
Thank you very much for watching. I'm glad the video was useful
Is it just me or is the pro and elite jittery the x seems the best
Awesome sequence = thanks for the comparison of the 3 :)
Hello! Good camera Akaso v50 elite, the touch screen is broken and I can’t find it. Please provide a link to the seller who sells spare parts for Akaso v50 elite?
Not seen your reviews before. They are excellent, spot on with everything needed to make a choice, thank you. Can you play videos direct from camera to TV? Greetings from UK.
Hi, Welcome to the channel. You can play them on the tv from the camera through a hdmi cable
Thanks, great review. Why does the Elite's images look so washed out? It should be better than the Pro but it never seems to be (image, not stabilisation).
Did you check out my review of the Akaso Brave 6 Plus? It's the latest camera from Akaso.
@@RedskullPro Thanks. I did. We can get the Brave 6 but not 6 Plus in the UK yet, certainly not from what I can see. The Brave 6 is fairly cheap - is it at all comparable?
I'm a using akaso brave 6 plus .very nice action camera..and not expensive for the beginners vloger..thank u..for sharing this video .I got a good camera.
Hi Redskull, I heard about the controversy about the V50x internals, has this happened to the Pro and the Elite?
I haven’t heard anything about that… 🤷♂️
@@RedskullPro Another TH-camr mentioned this, and if you sort your comments by new on V50s, you'll notice a similar comment asking about the difference in vid quality, but thanks for the reply, I'll ask around in reddit
You did a really great video. It really helped me choose. I would go for V50x.Thank u redskull.
A well presented review. I choose the V50 Pro on its performance and hope the issue of stability is resolved with a gimble mount. Thanks for this review.
Thanks for checking it out!
Best Video comparision in akaso cams, and language so very understandable, love this channel, have all i,mn looking in gadgets.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the nice review ! BTW, it would be nice to include a video with a high end cam also to compare with the Akaso cams. That way, we can know what the real pictures and colors look like.
I've done a separate video between an akaso camera and a gopro....hard to add the 4th camera in one video
I'm about to buy one and thanks for the help. Considering everything and the money, I'd go for v50 pro. Great video.
Glad I could help!
