- Today we have a new experiment! I try making spouses decorate my house. On occasion the person you're married to can change the wallpaper or flooring. I decide to see if they can change the whole house! This was another stupid idea that took way too long!

Once Sebastian put skeletons in MY kitchen, so I put pink hearts in his room.

I had JUST FOUND the heart wallpaper and was so excited and not even a week later Shane changed it to Jojamart and I wanted to killlll him
He literally just matched the flooring i had in the other room and was too lazy to fix.

OMG that happened to me too! When Alex changed the fall leaf one to a football 🏈 and baseball ⚾️ them I am on the hunt for the leaf 🍃 wallpaper for 1 year! LOL 😂
I was so lucky with the one Sebastian chose for me. I had a space themed room and of course the walls had stars on them. The wallpaper he chose was so similar I could barely notice the change. It went from all white stars to white stars with splashes of coloured stars.
Funnt enough sebastian changed the floor of our bedroom to a bright yellow carpet. Did not expect that from him at all.

Oh DF, I wish I could hate all this game's NPC's as much as you. I recently divorced my in-game spouse and I did not sleep over guilt. Teach me your apathetic ways, oh wise and powerful one.
I make a new save file when I want to marry a different spouse ^^" I stubbornly refuse to divorce them, and I feel bad if I let their hearts fall even a little while I'm busy taking care of things and forget to talk to them for a few weeks.

What I know about DF: He is a lousy parent, a terrible life-mate, and barely tolerates pets. However, I love his mad interior decorating skilz. Win-win!

When I married Shane the first room he changed was the nursery. I actually kinda liked the flooring he chose though so I kept it. \_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, if I remember right the one time it happened to me it was in the kitchen. I'm not sure how he managed to get so unlucky! They're probably gaining sentience after all the divorces.

i spent 2 real life hours fully decorating my house only for shane to change the floor of the room above the kitchen to blue, which already had blue walls. yes honey, i think your favorite color might be blue.
That was me when Sebastian changed the flooring in the kitchen. I really liked it and ended up hunting it down in the shop. It took weeks but I got it.

Once Shane put a potted plant in the middle of the room, a plant that I already owned, and he just stood there and stared at it, he proceeded to walk up to it and stare at it at least once a week.
Sebby changed my kitchen flooring to a really nice dark wood after being married for about a month.
Penny changed our entire room to a strawberry theme. Best spouse in the whole game.

During the egg festival, at the end, Lewis mentions that we live in Pelican Town

Since the Witch hut(where the doves spawn) is out of the town then stardew valley is the correct word here

On one of my old worlds I was married to Haley and she changed the tiny peace of wall between the living room and the bedroom... thank you Haley, you always made such an effort.
You got a shit deal. In my gameplay Haley got me a bedside table. Still had to put it next to the bed since it was in the halway
I never decorate. Elliot did my whole house other than fridges and fish tanks. I just let him do what ever he wants to the house.
can you divorce a spouse while she is pregnant? if you can you should totally do so on your next divorce. no particular reason, it just feels like the most logical thing to do.

Alex changed my bedroom wallpaper to a football wallpaper, at first I was livid but I couldn’t stay mad at him so I put it in the kitchen to make him happy and changed the bedroom wall back lol

I stupidly bought the catalogue early game (which cost like all my money and messed up my farm because i had just harvested and did not have enough left over for replanting) so its not a problem

I've married Haley and Penny. Haley changed the bedroom wall to palm trees (she does love coconuts...) and Penny changed the kitchen floor to B&W tile
What i would do is just sell everything and buy a shark tank in the middle of the room. Then you don’t need prismatic shard or Pam to get rid of the kids

If you could implement an ingame mumps npc (that didn't simply replace another character,) how would you write them? I.E what character quests, dialogue, and heart cutscenes would surround him? The only rule is that they cannot live directly on the player's farm.

We are working on this mod in the near future along with bunny jumps. currently we have an intro scene hopefully we can work on it in the near future

Stardew Valley Newscaster: There has been a increase in the local dove population. It unknown why it been steadily increasing for over a hundred years, but if this keeps up the valley will be completely overcome by doves in the next 50 years.

Once I was married to Alex, he changed the kids room wallpaper to sport wallpaper and it was cute... Until he put same sport wallpaper to kitchen.
And once I married Shane, he changed the hallway floor, it looked like carpet so it was fine.
I was kind of luck since Shane changed the wallpaper twice, first the bedroom, second the “living room”, in a span of two and half years.
When I married Shane every so often he would just play a random piece of furniture in the middle of the room a red chair, a pink office chair, a random bedside table, a leave sculpture chair thingo idk what it is but yeah it's pretty cool

Haley for some reason bought a mahogany bedside table. Not complaining, I needed more decorations, but its good to know. The first time I saw that bedside table Haley decided to just talk about the heat and THEN mentioned the new furniture, with unique dialogue to boot (DF missed that), priorities.
Its my first week married to Elliot and I did not expect him to change the flooring to a pale blue. I was trying to match his room add-on's aesthetic 😭

I’m on year 5 of my game and I’m married to Alex. My spouse hasn’t changed any wallpapers or floors that I’ve seen but he has added 3 furniture items randomly around the house every now and then (two different chairs and a like side table)
