Something to consider- As a three-time mom, it can be difficult to bend over and crouch when you’re pregnant (or have back problems). An exercise ball is FANTASTIC for sitting on in the barn or house to hang out with little animals or to hang with small children in the house. It’s saved my back! Best!
Wow, what a wonderful surprise. Lovely to see your animals are increasing and so well looked after. Beautiful to see. But best of all, huge congrats on the new little human. Well done. Would love to see a video on parenting and homesteading. You are truly blessed in so many ways. Congrats
As much as I would love the opportunity to have a mini jersey calf, it's not in the cards for me. At 73, I think I'm too old. Firefly is beautiful. With Kay's handling skills, that cow will be a prize, indeed!. It's raining here in TN. Gloomy morning! You have helped brighten my day. Congratulations on everything! Glad you are back! GOD bless
This is the PERFECT video to get back with!!! So happy you're finally out of Alaska! Nothing is better than lambs. You have some generous neighbors to gift lambs to you. Amazing!!!
I am saying you all are expecting again? So good to have you all back on the farm, and see the family back on TH-cam and excited to see where you all are heading as far as building your new homestead. So excited to have you ask back home.
Aww, so enjoy seeing the farm again. Love seeing Kate pregnant, such inspiration knowing it’s possible to homestead and raise littles. Congratulations!
Welcome back! Its been incredible watching you guys thank you for helping my husband and I find courage in getting chicens and goats for a half acre homestead! (gotta start somewhere haha!)
I am a new subscriber! Very impressed with your homesteading journey. I grew up on a 100!acre farm in upstate NY. We grew all our own food & meat too!Congrats on #7 baby🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
After being gone for a season, its actually quite impressive to have gotten your feet back under you in less than a year. That's a lot of work to catch up on.
I know it is a one sided friendship since we know you through media. My family and I are glad to see you back. We missed seeing you guys. We have been following your journey for awhile and your channel has helped us with our own trial and error. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Welcome back. Missed your vlogs! Like the beard on you Aust. Congratulations on your new upcoming baby. The water buffalo is adorable. So much new life on your homestead. Thank you for sharing your life.
So glad you’ve come back! I had to go back and watch when you arrived there! Love the water buffalo and your cows are so beautiful! Congrats on the new baby.
I’m glad you’re back!!!! And I’m excited about your water buffalo journey….I’m retiring next year and am going to be doing a deeper delve into these. I’ve already started reaching out to water buffalo farms and will be visiting. It’s going to be great to follow your journey with the little lady. I have been researching them for over a year with my husband and we’ve settled on them for our future lifestyle. So excited!!!!
A question that always occurs to me when I watch your videos: If you want to go off grid, why not just gradually go off grid for your homestead? Put in solar and get off the electric grid. You can do that little by little. If you've been getting gas from a gas company, move to propane. If propane is still too much on grid, start installing wood heating and cooking. Personally I don't feel unauthentic with propane for cooking and wood for heating. I set up solar power. Your system would be a lot bigger, and you'd probably use a few separate systems ... one for the house, one for the well, one for barns and workshops ... anyways, why start over when you have such a good thing already going, and then have to build a house, pens, sheds, etc when you already have those? Or would your grandparents object to those changes ...?
Bottled gaz is not self reliant, maybe methane production. Or wood. But yes retrofitting an existing house is less sexy contente but truly more rlatable
I agree!!! It has been a good year for Your Family!!! I saw a few of your youtubes while you were in Alaska and I also watch a lot of homesteading Alaska channels. You have such a 'together' life in PA 💜 I remember when you returned to your home. Everybody was so happy to be back! All of you love the animals and are so good at caring for them. 💜Congratulations to all the Family with all the animals and to your 'new addition to be' 💚💛💖💙💛
It’s so good to you all! I was wondering where you were at. You have a lovely farm, and so many farm animals. Congratulations on being pregnant, and the heifer.
Thank you! I just started watching these videos probably about 2 months ago, I was super disappointed that I missed out on your homestead videos glad to see them coming back! I’ve learned a lot from you guys already just from past videos can’t wait to see what else you guys can teach us!
This is my first time ever watching your channel and you’re doing just fine and I will continue to watch and I’m glad you’re back in the states. I hope you enjoy your life here.❤❤
Aloha Austin and Kay. It is nice to see you all back on the farm. It has been a busy couple of years in Hawaii so I did not have much time following your Alaska Adventure but, will binge watch later. Hope you all have a great time there. Congrats on the Carabou (water buffalo), New Heifer and New Baby on the farm. God bless. 😊
Aust! I’m loving the beard! You keep it growing and we will have to send you some Flat Tire Farm beard balm! You’ve been missing an awesome sockeye run on the Kenai this year, btw
Looking forward to more farming videos.. I've so much enjoyed your Alaska experience series... I thought MAYBE a BABY!! Congratulations! so exciting.. Water buffalo will be fun ! We just got our first two Mini Longhorns...Oregon here otherwise I'd be interested in your lil heifer....
So excited to get an update! So much to be happy for. I love the water buffalo. Are those metal spike coming from her nose? Look forward to more videos from ya'll
We relocated to western PA this year and started our homestead efforts. I'd love to talk more about what we can be doing (now that you are back from the off-grid challenge).
I haven't watched you guys in a while, and now that our homestead is just over the horizon I started watching again.... And I was like you went to Alaska?! What else did I miss?
Congratulations! I loved your Alaska series because I went in 2018 and we boondocked all summer in our rv. Watching brought back some great memories of how beautiful it was when we went
Gosh this was such a good video. I missed your farm life. That baby water buffalo is beautiful. Congratulations to you on the addition of baby #7❤❤❤. We missed you all!
Congratulations!!! I think it’s wonderful that you keep having babies. Just take Homesteading one day at a time. Time will show you the way. The water Buffalo is so friendly. Almost like a puppy.
I am hoping that you get back to reg videos.. Just watching your daily routine with family is so enjoyable to watch! You have an adorable family... Missed this🥰❤️. Congratulations on the new baby coming.. You both are awesome parents!
Nice! I’ve been looking into buffalo a little bit lately. Aust, I’ve got to say you’re a lot better at looking into the camera rather than the screen now, so rusty’s working for you! 😁 And of course, congrats on number 7! ❤ All the best, positive vibes coming your way from 🇦🇺👍
Great to have you back home. I was confused on the timing of your trip. It was confusing, I finally figured it out. I thought it was this summer you were in Alaska because of the videos from there having to be delayed being played. Now I have it figured out. Congrats on the water buffalo & baby # 7 ,WOW.
I really WAS content guys, and then I saw your water buffalo. Could there be a sweeter looking creature? Now I suddenly need one. Everyone needs to pray for my husband. He will need grace as this is his wife’s newest desire. 😂
The Alaska challenge was interesting. But mostly because of your family's part. Alaska is beautiful, but I'm good with pictures and videos. I'm sure I'll never go. The homesteading videos are much more interesting to me. I wish I could. I'm too old & don't have the money to start. Glad you're back on the homestead & all is expanding and well! 😊
As a mom to 7 my self, im overjoyed to hear you're welcoming number 7! I rarely hear of other woman giving birth to 7 children so I'm grinning ear to ear w this update! Animals looks so healthy and loved, and everything looks so full of life. Welcome back guys! ❤
So after watching your video, I went down a small water buffalo rabbit hole to learn more about them. I saw one farm in Italy that installed a sprinkler system they could turn on during warm days because they love water so much 😊 Hopefully there will be a cheese-making video in the future.
As I was watching this I could see how the Creator was holding your family. Like the garden that burst to life, - little lambs arriving before they should have but right when you said "ok we're ready" came the abundance. Many Blessings
Love the beard! Congratulations on the new baby! And that water buffalo! What a beauty! She seems to have a lovely temperament, and her winter fur is just delightful! She looks like a plush toy.
As much as I enjoyed the Alaska Off-Grid Challenge ... it is good to have you back! It's a blessing to watch your family & farm grow - congrats
Something to consider-

Best!
I love watching your family's journey, it's so wholesome and uplifting, glad to see y'all back home!
Wow, what a wonderful surprise. Lovely to see your animals are increasing and so well looked after. Beautiful to see. But best of all, huge congrats on the new little human. Well done. Would love to see a video on parenting and homesteading. You are truly blessed in so many ways. Congrats
I'm over here cackling as you tricked the Nigerian Dwarf goats.... have done exactly the same thing. These little goats are my favorites!
GOD bless
None of us have stopped watching. Are you kidding?❤❤❤

After being gone for a season, its actually quite impressive to have gotten your feet back under you in less than a year. That's a lot of work to catch up on.
well, don't get mad. Good to see you without that curly mustache!😂

I would love more content/information on the ins and outs of raising dairy sheep.
