This movie was filmed in Astoria Oregon. This movie is the same film location as the movie The Goonies. Arnold said this is one of his favorites that he worked on. I couple years ago some of the kids were in an interview with each other and they all didn’t know Arnold was the surprise guest. Later on in the video Arnold shows up and everyone was surprised he showed up. The video is on TH-cam
Arnold is a better actor than he gets credit for. This movie proves it. He can be a bit over the top, but he can also display a lot of range. I love this movie. Been a favorite of mine since i was kindergarten age. It never gets old. And ALL the kids are fantastic in it!
The kid allowed to say vagina was on the sitcom Full House as one of the main character's friends. He was also in a movie with Bruce Willis and a Nightmare on Elm street to name a couple.
This is Arnold's favorite role. It was so different than anything he had done at the time. But I love how he goes into full Terminator mode when he's marching through the crack house to find Cindy lol.
During the 2020 quarantine, there was a YT series by Josh Gad called Reunited Apart. The zoom reunion of the kids from this class was especially sweet.
In the 60s, 70s, and part of the 80s, family members and friends kissed each other, even on the lips... it was a sign of being good friends... but that kind of stopped in the 90s... just one of those little things... like in the terminator... she kisses her roommates boyfriend on the cheek because they are friends... you wouldn't see that anymore. Great reaction. 😊
Three O’clock High Ali’s a classic. I also love his small role in There’s Something About Mary. When he is the cop that slams Ben Stiller’s head to the table lol
1. "Mr. Morbid" is stealing the show early on. 2. Fun. This movie is perfect for the "Kids say the darndest things" trope. 3. A childhood friend of mine had a ferret. He was an asshole. (the ferret not the kid) 4. I KNEW you'd like this.😁
"She's so little next to Arnold"...lol, Linda Hunt (the actress playing the principal) is 4'9" - Arnold claims he's 6'2", but seeing pics with him standing next to Sylvester Stallone who is purportedly 5'9/5'10" I'd say he's probably closer to 6'
I would revise that statement about Arnold on your tail with added question of his reason for him being on your tail. A guy like him covering my tail would be a comfort but if he is on it to capture or harm me then it is time to run.
"Her accent is pretty good." It really isn't though. It's kind of all over the place; a strange Austrian-German mix with a little Dutch and germanic Swiss sprinkled in. Pamela Reed did it intentionally as joke, mostly to tease Arnold.
"that's a good lesson".. No.. That is a lesson you need to learn if you want to end up paranoid.. it CAN be a good thing to teach kids, IF you remember to always talk about it as if it is in a transient nature.. The thing is.. You CAN learn kids to ALWAYS think a certain way and that MAY make them.. "safe".. BUT. .it will fuck them up for the rest of their life. REALITY is that MOST people who get abused get so by people who are NOT strangers.. Most people who abuse do so within the group of people they do know (friends, relatives) simply because.. they have some "good will" in there ALREADY!!!.. They can always trust that people will NOT want to think of their.. friend.. uncle.. etc.. that they ALREADY know and feel comfortable with to be a "bad person".. MOST abuse is NOT done by "strangers"... but yes.. teach kids to be AFRAID of strangers.. And they will NOT have ANYONE to go to for help, especially when their mother won't trust them when they say they don't like her new boyfriend.
@@Cassxowary .. You do know you are not saying anything that needs to be said (something I don't know, something that contrdicts anything I said, etc).. You think it would at all be possible to "know" if something is safe?... You are pretty much just confirming my statement.. If you start looking at risks that MAY be based on what you DON'T know then you'll live your life worrying and constantly feeding paranoia.. That way of looking at situations (constantly focusing on the ~potential~ inherent risk).. then.. you'll both treat good people as if they ARE criminals just because you "don't know".. The.. "I don't know if it was safe" excuse is what bad police officers ALWAYS use as an excuse for shooting people.. they ARE correct that they don't know.. and not knowing literally means "not knowing" which SHOULD be the stop of any discussion.. that is when you DON'T have any valid reason to take anything further... This IS only feeding paranoia, and CREATING problems that doesn't exist until you made them up in your head.. what you don't know is plenty; You may get hit in the head by a meteor, etc, you STILL shouldn't live your life assuming it is something that should happen, deal with the problem that is instead of the ones that MAY be.
Kissing a friend on the lips wasn't a big deal back then. Kids would even kiss their parents on the lips. Going further back, if you hosted Family Feud, you might kiss a complete stranger on the lips.
no place here for lgbt+ phobia. Be respectful and kind or don’t go think about what you did and don’t come back until you learn how to behave around others.
I swear every girls room is the exact same. Blue purple lighting. White decor/furniture and a lit up neon ligtning bolt from fallout. It makes me lose hope in humanity that humans are different. Just copying eachother
doesn’t sound like a good representation of the demographics because she’s the first one I’ve seen with that kind of background and I’ve watched all the reactions to this

This movie, and Twins, really showed that Arnold was actually a funny guy with a decent sense of humor. They are both really fun.
and the movie Junior too! It showed that he was a funny guy in that movie also. You have to react to this movie. It is one of my favorites to watch.
the girl who played emma was also in Beethoven 1 & 2 and others, she’s so cute too

Very true. In my opinion, he doesn't get enough credit for portraying a cyborg with "robotic" movements and speech in the first Terminator.
The kid allowed to say vagina was on the sitcom Full House as one of the main character's friends. He was also in a movie with Bruce Willis and a Nightmare on Elm street to name a couple.
In the ”fall” on the tower scene the boy actually did his own stunt. They had him in a fall harness .
In an interview, Arnold said that of all the films he starred in, Kindergarten Cop was his favorite movie.
3:57 - Coincidentally "Collateral Damage" is the name of another of Arnold's movies. Haha
This is Arnold's favorite role. It was so different than anything he had done at the time. But I love how he goes into full Terminator mode when he's marching through the crack house to find Cindy lol.
If you only see him as Arnold in every film, you'll quickly get confused when it comes to "Last action hero" ;-)
Everyone thinks of Arnold and Terminator. Seeing him in a more dramatic role was really fun.
During the 2020 quarantine, there was a YT series by Josh Gad called Reunited Apart. The zoom reunion of the kids from this class was especially sweet.
Where they filmed Kindergarten Cop was a block away from where they filmed Goonies
@@MatthewWard-jf5ws and the first Short Circuit film
such a beautiful town! I love Astoria, OR
“You’re not so tough without your car are ya?” (spoken John Wayne style )

cheek kisses are still a thing in europe
The Kissing Boy was played by Jason Reitman who was also in Twins and Ghostbusters 2
and the son of the director, which also explains that (not to discredit his talent)
The “boys have a…” kid is Miko Hughes. He can also be seen in Pet Sematary. Good time of the year for that one.
When I learned about “strangers” in school I always pictured “The Albino” played by William Frankfarther in Foul Play 1978
21:38 that's why I miss 1990, and I was only those kids ages
at one point during filming Arnold split his time between Oregon snd California for the filming of Terminator 2
Loving these movie reactions! Can't wait to see more. Still hoping to see Van Wilder!
Thanks! We'll add it to the list :)
There's a great 80's comedy/thriller film with the bad guy in this film called 'Three O'clock High' that would be a great reaction.
Three O’clock High Ali’s a classic. I also love his small role in There’s Something About Mary. When he is the cop that slams Ben Stiller’s head to the table lol
I forgot the actress who played George's Fiancee "Susan" in Seinfeld was in this movie.
Easy to miss, but at 5:43 that's Angela Bassett as the flight attendant.
fun fact: miss schlowski’s height + the height of an average height kid their age (5-6 year old) = his height lol
1. "Mr. Morbid" is stealing the show early on.

Collateral Damage??? Funny you said that because one of Arnold's films is "Collateral Damage" 😂
6:33 If she had to vomit she would have just opened the door on the side of the road. She needed privacy and proper clean-up afterwards.

her height plus the average height of a kid in that class/grade equals his height lol
Most definitely one of Arnold isn't the the only star of the movie all the kidz are wonderful amazing movie
Great reaction, lot of fun!
For your next Arnold movie, try True Lies. One of the best movies ever!
Assista - Secret Admirer - 1985
Assista - Can't Buy Me Love - 1987

Woooo
I hope Galaxy Quest and My Cousin Vinny are both in your list if you haven’t seen them before.
Will yall ever react to something as a group?

thank you, I thought so too, but for westerners…
Can you try Jaws?...

Hello, have you seen the movie Tarzan The Fearless?
Kissing a friend on the lips wasn't a big deal back then. Kids would even kiss their parents on the lips. Going further back, if you hosted Family Feud, you might kiss a complete stranger on the lips.
I remember the second thing, but at least one child predator took advantage of that last thing…
9:15 the wisdom of this kid is profound, many in 2024 should listen up

I've always hated this movie. You should do some reaction video of Home Alone 2
to each their own, but at least this one doesn’t have someone known to be one of the worst people ever…
