As I found out, Las Vegas Intl is now called "Harry Reid" and no longer "McCarran". Further during the startup procedure, in real life multiple more checks are being performed, like the Plasma/Magneto test, the Carb Heat test and "splitting the needles". I skipped those for time saving and also because they're not that well simulated in MSFS. Cheers
@@farcydebop For the plasma/magneto test, engine rpm should drop a certain amount. Not really working in sim. Carb heat has an influence on carb temp and rotor rpm, also not well implemented. Splitting the needles is working relatively accurately in sim.
You're becoming pretty good flying the helos especially more challenging with the hardware you're using. Las Vegas at night is stunning. Have you visited? 👍👍
Thanks! Yeah I feel more and more confident with the helos which is quite cool, but it takes many more months of flying practice still. And indeed with only the joystick it's quite a task ;) I think I had one short glance at Las Vegas at night, FlyTampa did an outstanding job for sure
I already have an A32NX tuto here: th-cam.com/video/MRgo6b_dD_w/w-d-xo.html It's a bit older by now, but most of it still applies to the newest version. It's only that most of the aircraft options and loading have moved to the EFB tablet.
You can enjoy the Cabri heli's along with some beautiful British Columbian mountain/snow/glacier views on BCHelicopters or Pilot Yellow TH-cam channels. I am pitchin them, delete if not acceptable sir!

i mean the real helicopter?
What do you mean by "not that well simulated"? What do you expect that tests don't provide here?
The physical helicopter?

It's fine, I did already watch plenty of real life Cabri footage ;)
