  • On March 8, 2019, the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft undocks from the International Space Station, after nearly 5 days aboard the orbiting laboratory during the company’s Demo-1 mission for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program and descends to re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere. Just over 5 hours later, the uncrewed spacecraft splashes down in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Florida and is recovered by SpaceX teams.

      Hmmm that’s probably going to happen within the next 10 years. Planned to land on mars by 2025. Just wait.
      (If you’re like, no way, not possible. Then listen here you non SpaceX followers. SpaceX has been working a rocket since 2012 called starship. Aka BFR, aka Super Heavy Starship. Whatever. It is said to be able to missions to the moon, mars, and beyond. It has even been said that this rocket can be used a transportation system around earth. They say it can go ANYWHERE on earth in under a hour. I think it’s true, since it would be the most powerful rocket EVER. like, what do you expect? Elon It can carry up to 100 passengers (Elon is the founder of SpaceX and usually means what he says)! So ya. If you think a rocket that has been worked on for almost 9 YEARS and counting won’t make it any CLOSE to being FULLY RECYCLABLE, and be able to be a multi-planetary transportation system, then i dont know what to tell you then look at the falcon 9 launches and falcon heavy launches.

    We just witnessed the real deal on 8/2/20. It splashed down just 7 miles off the coast of Pensacola, FL, in the Gulf of Mexico since the Atlantic was scratched due to the storm. We had a "few" local mariners great them on the joyous return and the Gulf was about flat calm, perfect timing, great conditions.

      What a simple way to convince you that all of their b******* is real spend a few thousand dollars to dump one of those things out of a plane.
      And changing the location due to the storm..... Boy howdy ,how can you deny its authenticity when they actually had to change the location due to a storm.
      That isn't anything a clever scripter couldn't think up that is familiar with human psychology.

    • @Michaelobama184
      @Michaelobama184 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@toddpeachey6427 they push it out of the rear of a military cargo plane and then pull the chutes. Otherwise. When would they pull the chutes. When the air is too thin for the chutes to actually deploy. It's all a lie. The reason why they discontinued the shuttle program I because they had to allow it to glide down extremely Fast to make it appear that the shuttle was coming from space. But this caused the wings and shuttle to get too Hot and it burned up and people actually died. So the reason why they discontinued the shuttle program was because it was very dangerous. They should have just glided in at a safe speed and told everyone that they already got it slowed down. But they had to show the shuttle flying very fast for the camera so people would believe it was really coming from space but it cost these people their lives. Now they use a small capsule that fits in the rear of a military cargo plane but the people inside are cramped. No one would be willing to ride in that thing for very long. I get claustrophobia just looking at them inside that capsule.

    • @Unbaguettable
      @Unbaguettable ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Michaelobama184 have you seen the interior of the dragon? it's quite spacious. Also theres no military plane that could get the shuttle to the speed it was coming it at. There's way too much drag on the atmosphere. legitmately, the only way to get to that heat / speed would be coming from orbital velocity, which surprise surprise is what the space shuttle did. The people died not because it was hot, but because the heatshield was damaged in one place. All the other shuttles got that hot too. They discontinued it partly because of both challenger and columbia, but also because it was wasting money and was outdated in the modern era. Also finally, why would they spend years developing massive rockets which had enough power to get to space, and then not get to space? It would have costed more money to pay all the engineers (for example on the apollo program there were 400,000 people) to keep it secret, have no whistleblowers, build big enough rockets which had enough fuel to get to space, even have the RUSSIANS believe that it was all real. The USSR would have been the first to try and prove NASA wrong about anything they did - but they never did, because all of it was legit.

      Go look at the footage of the post moon landing press conference. Those "Astro-nots" could even agree on some really

      Michael Anthony Michael there’s reasons US can’t just replicate a Saturn V rocket rn m8. It is exactly because they were using sliding rules and paper clips, the blueprints aren’t a exact representation of what is on the actual rocket. The workers made a lot of onsite modifications tot he rocket. By the same logic are you saying because it takes shit loads more to build a nuclear station now, US can’t actually build nuclear station half a century ago? Btw it takes about $184 billion in today’s money to get people onto the moon, do u think NASA is ready for this kind of expenditure?

    It is an international station so I suggest you always mention the GMT/UTC, too. Even in August 2020, the invitation screen for the NASA welcoming event only includes US times. So inconvenient for your audience around the world...

      Well, its guys from US eturning their capsule to their waters, controlled by their guys in their command center. I get it why they mention only their time, whats your problem? I dont recall russia hosting such amazing eye candy for the whole world to see, so kindly go jump on that trampoline.

      @@darkart7176 I am not Russian but is this an American station and also will they be carrying US only astronauts in teh future? They started mentioning the times in their live show but I wish they did it every time. My problem is that I thought since the end of the Cold War space exploration is an international endavour. And despite financed by individual nations only, they might want to promote their achievements around the world and not only for the US audience.

      @@aswler Not russian, eh? Alright then. Lets see... Musk is doing the whole world a favor by promoting space and releasing these streams world wide , but instead of simply saying thanks very much Elon, you are awesome, lots of russians and "not russians" make fun and crap on SpaceX initially and once he manages this amazing feat, b!tch and moan about anything and everything. I am Canadian and I acknowledge the fact that this win belongs to USA. I am very grateful to Musk personally and to whole US in general for this tremendous achievement and since my tax dollars didnt participate in any of it, I'll take what they offer and be thankful for it. Just as you should, not russian.

    How does the capsule stay afloat? Does it have a blow up tube around it like the Apollo ships?
