    All these concepts of poetic spaces and romanticizing of spaces by a designer, how much of it is really relatable to the end user? It all seems like a selling idea.

    • @mannabarbhuiya1
      @mannabarbhuiya1 7 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Satyajit Kambli : Architects always sing the song written by end user in most cases. In some other cases its architect who writes the lyrics and compose the song aswell, end user just end up with signing few cheque leafs. As simple as that ;)

    • @creativezebra5757
      @creativezebra5757 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Satyajit Kambli depends on who the end user is..........the end user can be a 5 yr old son of the owner, the kaamwali bai , the old grandmother , the young teen daughter....... everyone is going to percieve the spaces differently..... so let's not worry too much weather the architect is true to everybody who uses the spaces.......let's focus weather the architect is true to his story ....of what he imagined the problem was and weather his design solutions work and solve those problems.

    • @Dude31463
      @Dude31463 7 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Satyajit Kambli
      End user...? HA!
      This is about Architects feeding/stroking their gargantuan Egos adorned with slick, trendy, meaningless words putting their unsuspecting end user in bewilderment and a sense of worthlessness, compelling them to write a big check in the hopes that their mere existence may somehow be justified.

    • @oh_Siddhie97
      @oh_Siddhie97 7 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Everyone will experience the space differently based on their intellect and perception. There is thoughtfulness behind every detail of the building and a reason for every element implemented in the construction of the building. The principle of architecture is to be precise and thoughtful.
      Architecture comes in every style, mood, ambience, function and interest. Without romanticizing the design it won't be possible to achieve this variety and the end user will probably be living in a cube block with square rooms.
      I conclude this with saying that this is not a marketing strategy at all and there is a lot of thought process involved even in the selection of materials and catering it to the needs of the user. It may not be relevant everytime but there will always be a reason.

    • @creativezebra5757
      @creativezebra5757 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Rangeeli _Basant yes , justification of a design descision is required ....... Everytime ....from small to big decisions in a architectural project. .....I liked your response to the original comment.....I would like to invite you to my channel .

    Art at its best. Does not always need to look like a house with doors and windows.As someone rightly pointed out there is an element of brutality yet once you are taken into the inner space, there is a burst of peaceful energy complimenting the ambience.

    He’s just planning to place the rooms, the levels, the landscapes on different perspectives according to his idea of perception from the site context but unless placing stuffs there are lot more that to do a complete structure with a complete design!! He’s simply making the above mentioned initial things and gets the Payment easily!!an architect’s job is to go beyond that !!

    It is so meditational to look at this house. Yes it is cold and barren , devoid of warmth of a home. But perhaps it was designed to be that. It is really minimalistic and removes all the clutter. The vegetation could have been better integrated with the building. It looks messy. Tree in the bathroom not at all gives a soothing effect,it looks like a mess to be cleaned.

    This looks like a building Howard Roark would design. Amazing design, brilliant concept, but the interior design sort of didn't justify the idea of the house. But, really great job Spasm Design.

    • @kunalsen2123
      @kunalsen2123 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was thinking the same thing. This does seem to doff its hat to Howard Roark and his inspiration, Frank Lloyd Wright, in that it evokes the spirits of the Heller House and the Sturges House to good effect. I just think the open sections of the living room weren't really needed, since a grand verandah/entryway was already in place.

    Remember that designing a building depends on the type of user and the lifestyle that they have. Every building is unique.Your house is custom made only for you. This may not fit to your needs and wants, thats why you dont feel liking it. Have a dialogue with your architect for your future home project ,thats the key.
