I like how the theme is in this game. It shows that Phoenix is still using everything Mia taught him, and is carrying on her legacy, putting all he has learned and experienced into his two underlings. To me, it represents that he is the legendary veteran that still has it, but can step aside to let the younger attorneys shine, waiting to help at anytime. But it shows he is still the same old Nick, through and through.

You want a REALLY triumphant theme? Try listening to The Resolve of Naruhodou Ryuunosuke, though it's a pursuit theme it's completely based on Ryuunosuke's objection theme
The objection theme in that game just doesnt work for me. Only in the first case because Mia is still a noob. Otherwise it feels way to basic and like it's for a beginner. But SoJ did this theme justice
The part from 0:36 onwards is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to this song. Period. I was a little underwhelmed at first because this was just another remix of 2004, but holy fuck.

This really hits different in the Khrua’in trials because Phoenix’s apparence is the first time in 23 years the people have seen a lawyer. Really feels like your shaking things up and revealing how screwed things really are.
I still can’t get over how absolutely screwed I felt when I heard this in the Case 5 Civil Trial. I felt hype because I love the song as well as Phoenix but as an Apollo Justice enjoyer, I was sweating buckets thinking the guy was done.

i consider the first part to represent his past, since it's technically mia's theme, and then 0:43 and on is a similar melody to his JFA theme, so it's properly phoenix's, instead of mia's. either way, while it's not as good as the other lawyer's themes, *it's so good!*

SPOILERS: In my opinion, this song should have played when Apollo asked the Queen if she knew how to channel spirits. It would've made sense character-wise since Apollo became a worthy attorney at that point, and how this song passing down to him could have signified that.

Point of AA3 was for Phoenix to finally separate himself from Mia and stand on his own. So the game having a constant callback to Mia instead of himself just feels off. Even AA4 used his original Objection theme and whatever crossover he is in uses it too so it's just weird that they insist that AA3's theme is his theme.

Unpopular opinion but either the first or last victim of the next game should be phoenix, its the only way to let the franchise truly move on and no longer be shackled by needing to include him: athen and apollo deserve to either share a game or just alternate (dual destinies should have been athena's game and spirit of justice should definitely have been apollo's) because cramming a phoenix case into every game holds back the series' story telling... or just have phoenix be the damn mentor who as reached the grossberg point of helping in court but never taking over, either way we should stop playing as phoenix or at least relegate him to the dlc cases
