bite that about the average length of s resident evil game (except re4 and re6) anywhere from roughly 5-7 hours. If the player has played any resident evil game before and especially resident evil 2 remake before then the time will be like this and or faster since the player already knows the gist of the game already and has the controls down pretty much out the gate cause of re2 remake so that helps tremendously. You forgot the scene when you first play as carlos and before going into the RPD you go down the stairs i to the locker room where brads picture he says something about brad and if you look in the locker you see Leon Re2 remake police outfit and he also says something about that swell it was cool hearing that
When you kill zombie brad, go downstairs on the entrance of RPD where in RE2 remake appears the brad poster and carlos will say: "sorry poster boy" Thas was the best of carlos for me
im pretty sure the mystery person in the end credits teaser was jill. i mean, it looks like theyre wearing the same pants, and i dont think chris would have that sort of body
If Capcom does pull a Resident Evil 4 remake, let’s just hope that: -Regenerators aren’t excluded -The typewriter isn’t a preorder bonus (along with other costumes and weapons) -They revamp the story just a bit more to connect it with the rest of the Resident Evil lore -Revamp Ashley’s character
There is one detail I thought is brilliant, yet very subtle. When you’re playing as Carlos in the hospital, you can leave items alone and let Jill pick them up instead. It’s like in the original Resident Evil games.
@@cbrfan8438 Only the ones during Carlos's hold out disappear. I let Carlos pick up all of the assault rifle ammo and the rest of the items would depend on what you want to do with them. I realized this when I noticed there are locks waiting to be lock picked, therefore I made the assumption that Jill can explore this area.
The part of the RPD and the Hospital were really well done! It's nice to see continuity between the 2 games (Except for the lockers... oh well, we can assume that canonically Carlos didn't open any of them).
i did like that they put Murphy, the mercenary friend of Carlos, that appears in the pharmacy in the classic and he can be kill by Nikolai or Carlos. another thing that I notice is that you can find a merenary with a document that says that he kill himself and in the classic you can find him too, the reason why I think is the same one is because in the end of the document he write something like "I decided to pull the trigger hoping that my body doesn't come back to life" ( I don't know if the quote is right because i've play the game in spanish, the original, and I watched the gameplay of this one in spanish too but in spanish is very similar so I think is the same guy) And now Mikhail is a captain and in the original he was a teniente.
Yep, the dead mercenarie is the same that was in the original game. A bit dessapointing that they use a model of a U.S.S member reused from RE2 (2019) instead of a UBCS model.
Lmao that’s obviously Jill at the very end. She’s wearing the same outfit from her nightmare, her top is just colored to be green. How else would someone get the vial? Jill is the one that kept it. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️

Well I thought I heard of a Easter egg. The sound of Jill shooting the chain that holds the gate up before the stalker infects her. That sounded like a chain breaking from re4. Or am I wrong?
Nº21 It's Jill in the end. And probably she's already in Europe at that time. She goes to Europe to continue investigate Umbrella HQ as show in the Epilogues of Original Game. CAPCOM mayyybe planing Tell us that story.
Jimmy Jericho from my pov if the game doesnt have blue herb that means there is no enemies require us to use the blue herb. means less content. means it suits more to be called a long DLC instead of full game.
One I love is that every time the Nemesis walks out of a fire explosion likes it's nothing, a short snippet of music from the Terminator will play, the same that's used whenever the Terminator did the same thing..

Now, now ... none of these things matter to the speedrunners who only care about how long the game is and how quickly they can beat it. "Hey, everyone. I beat RE3 in 1 hr. 37 minutes and 22.6 seconds!! I rule, but the game is too short!!" Those of us who enjoy the whole game experience appreciate all of these details. Another tidbit I really liked was the RE2 save room theme remixed in the police station for RE3. Very nice touch I wasn't expecting.
speedrunners like details just like any other fan so i'm lost here..? they speedrun the games because they love them enough to dedicate time to perfecting them why would they not like easter eggs and such just because they speedrun it? They are just as much of a fan as you, probably even more.
@@Shatterstars88 I would disagree. If you are speedrunning, how are you soaking in all of the details? I think it's clear there are different priorities among this group and the others in what enjoyment they get out of a game.
@@MystikWizard they do normal playthroughs first so im unsure as to what your even referring to. I simply don't get your issues with speedrunners they quite literally enjoy the game more than we do. Bawksoup and Carcinogen are two people i watch a lot and they purely just enjoyed it on their first runs and discussed in full detail how they felt about the games before moving onto speedruns so i can't tell quite where you got to thinking like this.
@@Shatterstars88 if that was true that they do normal playthroughs the first time through, my guess is they wouldn't be complaining about the length. But still I can't wait to see the CV remake (in full please, not like RE3) with the new RE engine!
That "mystery" person is Jill, she was the person in possession of the broken vaccine dial, there's no reason no give it to someone else. Also just the way the person looks and moves resembles Jill
9⃣️ 3:58 Brad wasn’t killed by Nemesis in the RE3 1999 game, he only got infected and started to lurk around the alley in front of RPD building. In RE2 1998, you can kill him to get the boutique key.

We will wanna get all trophies, beat the game on all difficulties, then do it again with s rank, and unlock everything at the little store . My first plan though was 6 hours but I did it on hardcore so took me a bit longer.
@@afibuffygirl Exactly.
I finished it in 8 hours 😮
You forgot the scene when you first play as carlos and before going into the RPD you go down the stairs i to the locker room where brads picture he says something about brad and if you look in the locker you see Leon Re2 remake police outfit and he also says something about that swell it was cool hearing that
When you kill zombie brad, go downstairs on the entrance of RPD where in RE2 remake appears the brad poster and carlos will say: "sorry poster boy"
Thas was the best of carlos for me
im pretty sure the mystery person in the end credits teaser was jill. i mean, it looks like theyre wearing the same pants, and i dont think chris would have that sort of body
I thought RE3 remake was absolutley amazing - it was just the correct length and hopfully they will dlc a merceneries mode
It was too short
it was bad
Wrong, wrong, wrong. You are wrong. Wrong. *sing*
I love that brilliant little detail where you trying to get away and turn around to shoot but Jill refuses to do so living you open for any attack lol
I also think there's a picture of Morrigan on the sign that Brad throws at a zombie
The person in the end is clearly Jill as comparing her arm with the ending scene arm
If Capcom does pull a Resident Evil 4 remake, let’s just hope that:
-Regenerators aren’t excluded
-The typewriter isn’t a preorder bonus (along with other costumes and weapons)
-They revamp the story just a bit more to connect it with the rest of the Resident Evil lore
-Revamp Ashley’s character
And better mercenaries with maybe more characters. It would also be cool if the mercenaries would have multiplayer.
Drew Does Stuff LEOOOONNN
I got goosebumps when you start to talk about the next Resident Evil Remake, Can't wait for RE4 Remake
Coder Veronica needs to come first!
There is one detail I thought is brilliant, yet very subtle. When you’re playing as Carlos in the hospital, you can leave items alone and let Jill pick them up instead. It’s like in the original Resident Evil games.
I kind of thought about that, thought the items would not be there.
I really loved how they redid the hunter introduction POV shot from the very first game
5:12 That's because Carlos' canonically not supposed to open those lockers.
Claker Se why not?
The part of the RPD and the Hospital were really well done! It's nice to see continuity between the 2 games (Except for the lockers... oh well, we can assume that canonically Carlos didn't open any of them).
i did like that they put Murphy, the mercenary friend of Carlos, that appears in the pharmacy in the classic and he can be kill by Nikolai or Carlos. another thing that I notice is that you can find a merenary with a document that says that he kill himself and in the classic you can find him too, the reason why I think is the same one is because in the end of the document he write something like "I decided to pull the trigger hoping that my body doesn't come back to life" ( I don't know if the quote is right because i've play the game in spanish, the original, and I watched the gameplay of this one in spanish too but in spanish is very similar so I think is the same guy)
And now Mikhail is a captain and in the original he was a teniente.
Yep, the dead mercenarie is the same that was in the original game. A bit dessapointing that they use a model of a U.S.S member reused from RE2 (2019) instead of a UBCS model.
never played any RE game but Carlos really sold it for me on the play throughs ive watched
Lmao that’s obviously Jill at the very end. She’s wearing the same outfit from her nightmare, her top is just colored to be green. How else would someone get the vial? Jill is the one that kept it. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
I do love how all the little loose ends are tied up here, throughout the games
I know it is RE but for the first time , i don't wanna spend full price for a 6hr game. Sale it is!!
Yea it ain't re 2
@@sonfable8809 sheep
Son Fable I’m 2 hours in on hardcore and I’m enjoying the game . Only ppl who are whining are ppl who played the original complaining about cut content . Even though the game is short it’s still fun . But I still believe the game should have been lower than $60
The original RE3 was just as short. Besides, there's worse offenders out there.
Who cares?
Well I thought I heard of a Easter egg. The sound of Jill shooting the chain that holds the gate up before the stalker infects her. That sounded like a chain breaking from re4. Or am I wrong?
Code Veronica and 4 need to have a Remake!
It's not Chris, it's Shaggy, he's just using 0.1% of his power to time travel to a point where he can grab it.
Actually the bonus scene ending was JILL , with that jeans and women body looks.
You forgot her line “you want stars I’ll give you stars” she said during one of her escapes from nemesis before she shoots the red barrels on him
Nº21 It's Jill in the end. And probably she's already in Europe at that time. She goes to Europe to continue investigate Umbrella HQ as show in the Epilogues of Original Game.
CAPCOM mayyybe planing Tell us that story.
I thought it was a cool little detail that they kept the same save room music from RE2 when you enter the R.P.D station as Carlos.
8:25 That is obviously jill.
I thought the scene was supposed to hint something.
I really don't think so.
Check Jill’s model in bonuses after treating the game and you’ll see cap com added certain physics to a certain area
Jill had the vaccine canister and leave it on Chris house, Remember the in the ending at the Chopper , Jill showed it.
I'm pretty sure the post-credit scene was Jill. It makes no sense for Chris to get it when the missile was about 10 minutes away from leveling RC.
And chris is in europe, trying to take down umbrella.
@@cbrfan8438 Yep as shown in the epilogue for Jill where she finds his knife.
@@GenGamesUniverse many dont know resident lore.
What about all the rick grimes sheriff hats laying around the hospital
I noticed those too. I think those are the hats the Arklay County Sheriffs Department wear, based on the optional costume Leon has in the RE2 remake.
That whole Chris part had me laughing! Great upload
RE2R has blue herbs. if a RE game doesn’t have blue herbs, then it’s an action game. not survival horror like RE2R.
Actually there is an easter egg at the gas station about herbs and they even show a yellow herb, which was never in the game in RE2R
Jimmy Jericho from my pov if the game doesnt have blue herb that means there is no enemies require us to use the blue herb. means less content. means it suits more to be called a long DLC instead of full game.
@Jimmy Jericho they could have just used blue herbs for parasite status instead of using green herbs.
One I love is that every time the Nemesis walks out of a fire explosion likes it's nothing, a short snippet of music from the Terminator will play, the same that's used whenever the Terminator did the same thing..
This game is amazing !! Playing it now
@daniel scott than you Sir are amazing. The game is absolute brilliant and I am a major fan of the original
The same background music whenever we’re in the safe room
6:18 enjoy people
I think the punching bag and green shirt all points to Chris Redfield. We're getting a Code Veronica remake! YES!!!!
Not gonna happen
@@MisterMunkki Yep Leon will be kicking boulders in RE4 remake just announced
I still want a RE 1 remake especially after seeing her in her original costume 😩
it already has a perfect remake on gamecube.
RyuSaarva I was like 2 or younger when that came out so I didn’t get a chance to play it on there. Besides it would be nice to have the original trilogy remade on the RE engine!
Christopher Vera re1 remake is on all platforms
re1 remake doesn't need a new remake , its just perfect
mariogpx well I’m just saying it would be nice for a new generation of players to play it especially in this new engine they have. They already have her model shouldn’t be too hard lol
You miss out on the HOT DOGGER knife which a reference of the MON MON Hotdog Stand in the original RE3 which I was the only one known to figure out that one.
You forgot when at the police station, on the 2nd run where you see Brad's poster he says something about Brad's poster and a police uniform.
I just wrote that myself lol , then came across your comment.
@@adamyork5612 lol that's always the way.
Dario Rosso is btw a tribute to Italian horror director Dario Argento (directed Profondo Rosso).
The amount of people complaining and bellyaching and bashing is too damn high.
Thank you I am tired of reading people complaining. For me the game is awesome it is absolute brilliant. There is nothing wrong with this game
I believe so too. I finished the game earlier and I loved it!
I bought it last night I’m having the time of my life i never listen to reviews anyway
@@kramnedlenorock same here as Resident Evil 3 as being my favourite game of all time, I honestly feel priveliged on experiencing a new remake. Capcom did a fantastic job
@@losglo772 Worth every cent I tell you. The soundtracks are impecable, Jill's strenght is astonishing she is a heck of a survivor
Well, Mr. Carlos, Leon did have a kickass first day.
7:54 That person with the green shirt in the after credits scene has a women wraist, hasnt it? I dont think its Chris... Maybe Jill or Claire.
Claire didn't even have a sample.
Nobody gonna talk abt Carlos found Leon's uniform in the locker room
Thanks to the Corona Virus, Capcom has delayed the game's shipment to my country (Philippines)
F
Lol just get it digital
Boulder: *exists*
Chris Redfield: my power is MAXIMUM
6:31 ...I think you meant to say "specifically", but what came out was "specifally"...? Anyone else noticed it?
lmao
The facial expressions and the hair movement they are looks amazing too.
That’s all great but I’m pretty sure the ending was Jill, was I the only one who though it was obviously a woman? If it was Chris than how did he get the vile Nikolai shot at the end?
Now, now ... none of these things matter to the speedrunners who only care about how long the game is and how quickly they can beat it.
"Hey, everyone. I beat RE3 in 1 hr. 37 minutes and 22.6 seconds!! I rule, but the game is too short!!"
Those of us who enjoy the whole game experience appreciate all of these details.
They don't focus on doing it as fast as they can until after they are done their first time which is similar to how most people play anyway since resident evil has always been a game with rankings based on speed?
I simply don't get your issues with speedrunners they quite literally enjoy the game more than we do. Bawksoup and Carcinogen are two people i watch a lot and they purely just enjoyed it on their first runs and discussed in full detail how they felt about the games before moving onto speedruns so i can't tell quite where you got to thinking like this.
@@Shatterstars88 if that was true that they do normal playthroughs the first time through, my guess is they wouldn't be complaining about the length. Taking their time, exploring every nook and cranny, reading every file to process what is in it, etc. I had no problem with the length my first time through and I believe it took me between 5 and 6 hours exploring everything and taking my time.
To be honest ign the post credits ending scene dont look like chris Redfield.. It looks like a woman .. Soooo 🙌
Everyone complaining about the downgrades now but if they try to remake code veronica this will look like a masterpiece because code veronica is a huge game.
code veronica was meh though.
@@Ineedgames so was original nemesis and they still made a remake.
Literally have no idea how you could mess up that last "detail" it's so obviously Jill, who else would have the same vial that was shot, the same one she's holding in the helicopter???
The parasite part has been there all along I believe, I think it is mentioned somewhere in Lisa Trevor's backstory. Lisa could (unfortunately) survive everything Umbrella researchers throw at her including a deadly parasite. It eventually leads to the birth of the Nemesis / G.....something like that, can't remember the exact details but parasites was involved all along.
But still I can't wait to see the CV remake (in full please, not like RE3) with the new RE engine!
The person at the end is Jill. Not Chris. It's very clearly a female body.
iTs-Sneak it’s Claire. Code Veronica is next.
@@gregs3823 why would she take the thing tbo
After making Tyrant/Mr.x looks like Dolph Lundgren with bald head, and now Nemesis looks like Slenderman !!!
He looks like a tall skinny man with no face? You're trippin, they look nothing alike
Re 0 or 1 remake? Who knows? They could go anywhere from this point. I’m hoping they bring Chris or Barry back in the remake.
they’ve already made a remake of RE1...
That "mystery" person is Jill, she was the person in possession of the broken vaccine dial, there's no reason no give it to someone else. Also just the way the person looks and moves resembles Jill
Everyone is upset for no reason. Be happy we got a remake.
Nebula no it wasn’t remade correctly!
9⃣️ 3:58 Brad wasn’t killed by Nemesis in the RE3 1999 game, he only got infected and started to lurk around the alley in front of RPD building. In RE2 1998, you can kill him to get the boutique key.
I think the arms on the character in green are to thin to be a guy in the series my first thought was Jill but do you know who else wears green besides Chris.....
Rebecca chambers and that would be a dope Easter egg plus from the movies we know she turns into a scientist and figures out a cure for one of the viruses who says she didn’t get her start curing viruses here
But that’s just a theory .....
I thought so too. The way the waist looked was too thin for a guy too. What would make sense is that Jill gave the vile to Rebecca and it allowed her to start working on the vaccine
