Portion control is the real value. Best for the business AND the customer observes that all scoop portions are the same, so complaints are avoided. 👊😎🍨
I remember scoops being these thick metal spoon shaped things that didn't have any moving parts. They just kept them in a container of water so the ice cream didn't stick to it. They worked just fine.
They actually make a version of that that has a heat conducting fluid on the inside so he uses your body he instead of hot water to scoop even the hardest of ice cream
I have eaten ice cream every day after my lunch since 1987, used to pull the bus over next to the ice cream van and get a cone and 20 Regal. Grate vid cheers Ron from restalrig 👍
Can someone explain the the analytics for this recommended video when I was watching videos of the god awful unsanitary street food vendors from Pakistan? Anyone?
Ice cream does NOT taste better when in a perfect scoop! After 67 years of tireless research and experimentation, I can absolutely state that ice cream tastes better when eaten directly from a carton with a spoon. No scoop. No bowl. Just the ice cream and a spoon. I will vow to continue my research on this matter until the day that I die. You have my word on that.
@@lazarusdouvos Actually, not much. I prefer almond milk for cereal. My only weakness is cheese-and I rarely eat ice cream! BUT, it's not up to you to "educate" or convert me! My point was that this segment was about a UTENSIL; yes, one specifically designed to scoop the demon dairy! But I hardly think the devious dairy echelon conspired to create the segment to promote their products. Geez... sometimes things are just about things. @@deborahwood7459 im glad to read you have almond milk instead of dairy. ofciurse not its a journey, i removed animals products gradually and that worked for me. i have been whole food plant based for 5 years now. i never push anyone to do whats not right for them but i will say i do feel so much better not eating animals.
@@lazarusdouvosWell, that's great Lazarus and that's a healthy choice. But the comment section of a Sunday Morning segment about the ice cream scoop just struck me as the wrong place to interject your opinions on dietary lifestyle. It was a celebration of a kitchen UTENSIL made for scooping the world's favorite dessert. (Which, btw, makes for a nice-looking scoop of potato salad, too)
I enjoyed this. I LOVE ice cream! And I loved learning about Cralle. I had not heard of him before.

Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry combined (Neapolitan) sprinkled with walnuts. Yummy!!!!!
And what came first - the round scoop of ice cream, or the rounded cones? Whatever...they are truly made for each other!
Mmmm, ice cream...😋
I love ice cream. That awesome idea that has, people love. Thank you to the investor of the scoop.

Just like Chinese food doesn't taste the same w/o chopsticks, ice cream doesn't taste the same if it's not perfectly shaped into a ball. 🍦
It tast better when it's in my 👄 mouth..right now right on.
Sorry no watch of no captions 🤔
🍦 🍧 🍨
😋👍🏻
Who's eating 45 pints of ice cream a year? I haven't seen a pint of ice cream in over a decade.
Must not like it much, or, so religious about small amounts

Oh, please... there doesn't have to be an ulterior motive for EVERYTHING!
@@deborahwood7459 clearly you eat dairy.
