How to Write Your Asylum Story

Join RIF's legal advisor Amir Rasoulpour, immigration attorney, as he explains how to write your story for an asylum application (also known as a personal statement/affidavit). Question: Could one send the statement or affidavit initially with the form and then the corroborating documentation later? Is it recommended? I ask because getting the rest of the evidence takes time, and one does not want to go over the one-year timeline to file for it.

Are we considered for asylum without any case since I can’t make things up but im Palestinian who was born in Middle East and I couldn’t return to my country i don’t have the right for return and gulf countries doesn’t grant you birthright or residency for citizenship so im stateless and healthcare here in government hospital not for foreigners or ambulance and my residency almost expired here i cant be deported because there is no where to go i need your help please

Yes, you can apply for asylum with a study permit. The 10-month delay might raise questions, so explain it clearly and focus on current dangers.
