buddy, I am planning to buy trackpad as I am fed up with stupid apple mouse but as a substitute for mouse. I am in a bit of confusion when you mentioned you are using both. i mean i need both?
@@chumma_ak this is my own experience, I am a designer, and I find super easy and fast to zoom in and out with the track pad, as well other gestures on mac like accessing to desktop etc. while at the same time I move around with both, mouse and track pad. Again, it is my own experience as a designer working on large screens.
Great review! I'm looking for a way to keep working long hours on my Macbook and I'm definitely trying the trackpad. I too have chronic tendonitis (De Dequervain's), and it's a real hassle. Great info and I hope I can get better as well.
It seems the Trackpad is only good for navigation and zooming in/out but not for doing detailed work. It must be difficult using the Pen Tool in Adobe Illustrator with the Trackpad.
I have serious tendonitis, I have used the mx master 3, the logictech lift, and even the MX ergo a few days ago. ALL of it still gives me pain. I will try this and hopefully looking for some relief!
Wow thank you for your message and for your comments super happy to know that the same hack that I use for me is able to help you out… I don’t know why more people are not able to find this solution for them so i hope more people like us can find this video and help others out
I don’t think you can to use directly in the two in the same time you need to connect to one with the cable and when swapping connect again to the other one
Personally, I've found that my Logitech mx vertical has been good enough ergonomically, but man are trackpads good. I've configured the trackpad on my laptop very well and its enjoyable whenever I'm using it. Might get one of these just so I can use the trackpad on desktops as well. Also, underrated feature of the magic trackpad as well, is that it actually works on windows (depending on the version you might need to install additional drivers) but generally its very smooth and effective, and overall the best windows trackpad you can get.
I had everything from trackball to mouse and I have also the trackpad 2 and I deal between the Kensington trackpad expert and the trackpad 2 so when the trackpad isn't working for you you should definitely try a trackball
Once I knew that macOS has the custom configuration of right click + mouse move just with three fingers on trackpad. I am very comfortable with Apple Magic Trackpad. We can also keep plug-in cable while using it. The wired connection stabilizes the connection reducing a time lag especially while you are not using for a while with more precise and accurate pointer cursor navigation.
4:30 your issue is that you pivot your wrist while resting it you need more padding under it. when you pivot like that you are resting on a nerve and pinching it. get a thicker soft neoprene cloth mouse pad about 6mm thick and you will see an improvement. stop getting things for the aesthetic of it and get things for their functionality.
apple trackpad + a kensington slim wrist rest = lit. I like it better than my kensington slimblade pro trackball. for mouse. i like the magic mouse. i have no issue with it. many folks dont like it for some reason. they hold it wrong i think. I like the mx vertical mouse too. too bad they dont make left hand, you just have a regular lift left hand mouse. but none of it is needed with a trackpad or trackball. this is modern life. we all have $1000 of peripherals on our desk.. it's crazy.
Good video bro It does help. My hand is finally pain free again. (Not completely ok but 95% better). Editing videos is slower but maybe it’s muscle memory, we’ll see. Recommend it to anyone with this condition
the apple magic trackpad is the only one apple product that convice me and which still il my workflow set up. I should to say it, apple, good job. (but i will not talk about their pricing policy🤮)
Hi once again I agree and the worse in price is really per example the ssd price that is completely crazy and obviously the Apple Magic Trackpad is also overpriced
I get it is an Apple product but is great for someone who suffers from the same issue as me. I can't imagine my life working on a computer without my Apple Magic trackpad
Dude, this is the dumbest shit I've heard :D You probably get tendonitis because you forget to relax your fingers after moving your mouse (try to overcontrol it) (a typical problem for people of your personality type). Also dont do that bs of moving mouse from your elbow, just increase mouse sensitivity so you can manipulate cursor by only moving the mouse with your fingers so you dont ever need to lift your mouse. Hope that helps ;)
Happy that you are better than everyone. I'm sure you are a doctor and you treat chronic tendinitis and you know what is better for your patients… but doctor next time learn to respect other people and also there experience. Have a good day doc
@chuck7415 thank you so much for your comment. Above all the all are the same but we all are different and only who suffers of this problem can understand the frustration I try so many things to go around this problem and I couldn’t find anything just the Apple Magic Trackpad worked for me. Thank you soooo much for your comment and above all I don’t think I’m right or wrong. Above all just sharing my experience and hoping this video can help other people with chronic tendinitis like me
Have you tried a tray so you can put the trackpad on the bottom of the keyboard?
No I didn’t but I’m happy and comfortable with my setup as it is
I use both, trackpad on the left and logi master 3 on the right, and love it!
Why you use the two?

@@MADpack sorry mate, I replied to your question below as got asked twice. It is my own experience, so is good for me, not necessarily for others.
@chumma_ak no you don’t need but some people depending on their needs they can use the 2
Great review!

That's not the function of the magic trackpad
You can use a mouse and trackpad with your less dominant hand
The Apple Track pad is the best Apple accessory I ever bought. Much more comfortable than a mouse.
Thank you for sharing your experience appreviated

Hi I actually ordered one today and am using it. It seems to be working. Will check in a week later. but so far? Working out quite well!

I'm the same. The trackpad held with it.
@raulbarsan8582 I’m happy to know that it worked also for you. How long you use one?
@@ezewong290updates?
yeah what about two macs??
I don’t think you can to use directly in the two in the same time you need to connect to one with the cable and when swapping connect again to the other one
Never thought of adding a trackpad to a desktop, not a bad idea!
I really can't see my desktop without my Apple Magic trackpad

@@MADpack not, but because my job, my hands are very stressed and with some pain /loose of streingh in the early morning hours untill they "heat up"
