Millions of people use prepaid cards instead of a bank account. Deciphering the fees can be difficult. Consumer Reports has checked out dozens of cards and has a recommendation.
How tf is switching to prepaid cards gonna save on fees they have too many fees compared to bank accounts, bank accounts don’t even charge fees most of the time
I have a bluebird card and several other prepaid cards, but my preference i hardly ever use any of the others but always keep money on my Bluebird card and use it all the time. Actually usually the only time i dont is some places don't except American express and it has to be visa or MasterCard and than i use one of the others usually my walmart prepaid card and i have two of those one in visa and one in MasterCard. I also have a rushcard and NetSpend but i just didn't care for them so stopped using them.
I did not have a good experience with Bluebird, I went to pay a traffic ticket and they could not accept it. this article smells like a commercial for Blue Bird. I have use NetSpend with no problems. the card issued by that rapper was a total fiasco.
Thanks for post . I needed to know some of this 👍🏻

I've been using Bluebird for 2 yrs. They made a $30 mistake a few months ago which has not been resolved other than that I'm happy with $0 in fees =)
i think you still have to link that card to your bank account .. or how are the money will be on the card ?! am i right ?
No, you are not right. =)

I meant to say the Rush card, the card issued by russell simmons
Bottom line you can't use cash on the internet you have to use the card numbers typed in to buy something you want online lol
