I called and reported it to the company of the card, and now they tell me they will refund the money. Now I am waiting to hear from them.

I bought two CC"S from Walmart, greendot (bank) each is for $200 neither will work. I have called at least 4 times + I have emailed, filled out forms including my personal information and it still will not work. The card is denied every time. Even when they tell me its active. I am so frustrated I want to scream. Can you help?
While there may be monthly inactivity fees, it's unlikely your money will disappear after 1 month of inactivity. If you have a gift card (which is different than a prepaid card), you need to check the T&C of the card.

Nothing - as long as you have no funds. If you deposit any funds later on - you may need to pay that fee, retroactively.

Do all prepaid cards need a SSN to open an acct? Are there any prepaid cards in USA that does not require a SSN my concern is data tracking.
