@steaktastebetterpill when family come over.... it'll be nice to put a movie on the big screen via switch 2. Not all TV's are smart TV's where they come with streaming apps. It wouldn't be convenient having 6 people watch from a laptop.
I would take all your predictions and then lower the expectations, what I got from what that person said was cost effective. Nintendo will likely choose all the cheapest options and that's not going by rumours that's just prior experience. Nintendo likes cheap hardware that they can sell for a profit day one, if anything the next console will be around PS4 pro/ Xbox one x not the Xbox series s in my opinion.
Andres over here 100% believes this is true but is covering his ass by saying “rumor” but you can tell By his tone on the video he is laying this down like he believes it to be true 😂
These are the 2022 specs... So whats new? Anyway, imagine having actual sources about a Nintendo project but just asking about the specs. Since the GameCube specs are the least interesting aspects. Whatabout the potential ginmick of the hardware?
It cracks me up that nobody's even remotely curious about the control scheme this console will use. Think it's Joy-cons again? It'd be hilarious if you guys kept getting crazy hyped over the hardware only for the console to release with a new take on the Wii-mote. XDDD
I guess I'm in the minority, I really don't mind loading times. Like am I really so damn impatient I can't wait 5 seconds? Sure I don't want 30 second loading screens, but 5 seconds is nothing. If you don't have the patience for 5 seconds, you got some deeper mental issues to get looked at. Like you're already dedicating hours to sitting on your ass playing games...so you sitting there and occasionally having to wait 5 seconds doesn't actually change or effect anything.
I'm going to laugh if the new system is nothing like the Switch at all. Just a completely different thing that has nothing in common with the Switch. If all the sources were just mislead by Nintendo lol.
Nintendo's own internal teams, as proven in past interviews, rarely know what other individual in-house teams IN THE SAME BUILDING are working on. Why would a (presumed) Nvidia engineer know about the state of Nintendo's software? That does not compute! The hardware statement would be valid, but the software comment is almost guaranteed to be speculation. Not to mention it makes very little sense, since software development is always ongoing at Nintendo. There no point where it's "done," where Nintendo can just sit it out until they're ready for launch. The leaker also mentioned that this decision to wait was made just so that Nintendo can continue to sell through Switch stock. Really now? It's not like they would SUDDENLY realize that Switch is still selling, and they have a lot of inventory to sell thorugh. They've been rather bullish on Switch hardware forecast YEAR AFTER YEAR. Does anyone really believe that they aggressively planned a Switch software development schedule for a much earlier launch WITHOUT realizing that they have Switch consoles to sell? It's not like Nintendo to make these sudden, whimsical decisions. The most obvious answer is that they were likely always targeting a similar release schedule for Switch 2, as with the original console, and 2025 seems to be the year that gives them the best opportunity to get everything right in closing an old chapter, and opening up a new.
TOTK doesn't run amazing for switch. There are games that run at locked 60fps while you can consistently see drops below 30 by using certain abilities.
If true, this is ridiculous. Hardware _does_ become obsolete. If new games aren’t ready, just remake recent successes like TotK or Splatoon 3, work with 3rd parties to port their games (elden ring, baldur’s gate 3, SF6…) and release the damn thing. You can build up hype for your new games (3D Mario, Mario Kart 9…) in the meanwhile 🤦🏻♂️
Nintendo knows the current switch consoles already on the market are cash cows 🐄 for them. Nintendo knows their first party games are cash cows 🐄 as well. Nintendo is milking it all. I'm not surprised Nintendo is not ready to launch the switch 2 yet Andres. The switch 2 retail store price will determine how powerful the switch 2 really is. The switch 2 has standard ps4 console power. The price for the switch 2 will be $350 dollars retail. The switch 2 has ps4 pro console power. The switch 2 retail price will be $400 dollars. The switch 2 has Xbox series S console power. The switch 2 retail price will be $450 dollars or more.
I think Nintendo's shooting themselves in the foot, and making a MASSIVE mistake with delaying the Switch 2 release like this, and for this long. Imo, the only way they could (or could've) screwed up the Switch 2 transition, is by losing the momentum and interest that they have/had with Switch, going into the next system. Which to me, has already started to happen (for a while now actually), and for me, personally, has already happened big time, and for a while now. Their sales have declined for years now, and the only thing that *had* kept me interested in Switch, and not just waiting for Switch 2, was Tears of the Kingdom. And that was almost a year ago now. And even then, I thought they were stretching it by not having that be cross-platform. Now I know it's just me, and has no reflection on the entire community or consumer-base as a whole, but if they really push Switch 2 all the way back to 2025, I know for a fact I will have totally lost interest in the Switch 2 and Nintendo, at least for the time being, and will have moved on to other things/interests. And it honestly might be a while, or years even, before I regain interest, and even purchase the Switch 2.. Whereas if this had come out last year, or this year, I would definitely be a day-one adopter. Basically, I personally think they've really overthought this release/transition, and pretty much done the *only* thing that could've derailed the next system/Switch 2. Which is wait SO long, that any/all momentum from the Switch has almost totally died out by the time they rolled it out... So here's hoping the 2025 rumors end up not being true, or Nintendo still somehow decides to change their plans back to 2024
Supermetaldave64 is a complusive liar dating back to ten years of nintendo speculation. I can tell you from a former sub that he is wrong about everything. I'd go as far as to say, if smd says its true, then the opposite if true.
the only take away from this is that the switch 2 hardware is in a similar, if not the same spot as switch 1 in that it is already outdated when it will be launched. no one is happy with switch 1 performance, why would i buy into another 9 years of headache inducing 720p at 20fps with the view distance of a nearsided cyclops. next gen will be releasing in 3 years. current gen is 4k 60fps-120fps. switch is a lite-brite in comparison, switch 2 will be an etch-a-sketch compared to current gen and worse with next gen. no one will choose to play a handheld version of a game that runs at 4k 120 fps on other platforms. sure it keeps the kids quiet, but were faced with the same switch problems, just for 9-10 more years. ill just buy the game physical copy and then use a fitgirl repack as a legal backup, and use my already more than capable pc to not just play but experience the games in their truest form. you WILL NOT see nvidia RTX on a switch without active cooling maybe a software encoded pathtracing gimmick with 1-2 light bounces within an 8m radius but even that will crank out some heat, battery consumption through the roof, and would still require more active cooling, while yet again faced with bottlenecks at every corner driving FPS down to that lovely 20fps with dips in the teens that we all know and hate from the switch. anyone who says TOTK runs well on switch hasnt seen it run at full capacity on emulation.
another hugely underpowered console, nice, so exciting. Another gen of "this game looks impressive, for this crap hardware", instead of just "this game looks impressive"
Anyone can start a rumor or leak. So talking about them doesn't do anything for anyone. How can you be excited by something you don't know lol. There is no logic in that. I could say a sequel to Kid Icarus Uprising will be a launch title for the Switch 2....
The switch 2 will be a disappointment. Initial sales will seem to contradict this but then they will tank. Just like when people realized TOTK was just more of the same. The handheld gaming space is much more crowded now.
If u believe that then you're an idiot...TOTK sales are amazing a 70 dollar game selling 20 plus million copies in only 6 months is mind blowing..Sony, Xbox and every company that sells software would sell their soul just to get those kind of numbers in such a short time....People like u said the Switch will fail prior to it's launch back in 2017 and now it's about the pass the PS2...Switch 2 will not tank!!! They probably save that for NSO expansion with GameCube games too.
the switch 2 won't be dual screen
Cant wait to play TOTK on RTX graphics
We need netflix, peacock, disney +, paramount, and more. Hulu, TH-cam, and Crunchyroll aint gonna cut it.
We do?
Huh.
I use my Switch for, y'know, gaming.
Nintendo likes cheap hardware that they can sell for a profit day one, if anything the next console will be around PS4 pro/ Xbox one x not the Xbox series s in my opinion.
pokemon legends Z-A is going to be lit
Andres over here 100% believes this is true but is covering his ass by saying “rumor” but you can tell
By his tone on the video he is laying this down like he believes it to be true 😂
These are the 2022 specs... So whats new?
Anyway, imagine having actual sources about a Nintendo project but just asking about the specs. Since the GameCube specs are the least interesting aspects. Whatabout the potential ginmick of the hardware?
I can’t wait to hear from Nintendo themselves so they can squish all these rumours
I swear if the mii avatars wont come back im not buying the console
(also the joycones but i like the mii avatars)
The most obvious answer is that they were likely always targeting a similar release schedule for Switch 2, as with the original console, and 2025 seems to be the year that gives them the best opportunity to get everything right in closing an old chapter, and opening up a new.
gimme monster hunter wilds
TOTK doesn't run amazing for switch. There are games that run at locked 60fps while you can consistently see drops below 30 by using certain abilities.
Also none of this nvidia chip info is new. Switch 2 will not beat series S. It just isn't possible, it can get superficially close Maybe
8nm node for Switch 2 Doesn't make sense for Nintendo or a handheld it is power-hungry and it is more likely to be a 4nm node.
Another bad reply that has no idea about the chipsets tech.
Let's gooo Mr restart 🎉🎉🎉
You guys are all sounding like clones more grains of salt😂
You said 2004 😂
I think Nintendo's shooting themselves in the foot, and making a MASSIVE mistake with delaying the Switch 2 release like this, and for this long.
Idk how excited im gonna be if the system cant do 60 fps and only have maybe ps4 level graphics in 2025
Yeah expect the same issue like switch 1 games
another hugely underpowered console, nice, so exciting. Another gen of "this game looks impressive, for this crap hardware", instead of just "this game looks impressive"
So the tech is basically 4 years old when the switch comes out. Typical Nintendo. Fucked before it comes out. Not saleswise. For us, consumers.
Bruh
Anyone can start a rumor or leak. So talking about them doesn't do anything for anyone. How can you be excited by something you don't know lol. There is no logic in that. I could say a sequel to Kid Icarus Uprising will be a launch title for the Switch 2....
Dude can you stop with that annoying Skyward Sword music in your every single video
Worthless video. NOTHING here is confirmed. Rumors & leaks = a waste of time. Try again, kid.
The switch 2 will be a disappointment. Initial sales will seem to contradict this but then they will tank. Just like when people realized TOTK was just more of the same. The handheld gaming space is much more crowded now.
Steam deck is still the most preferred handheld to play over switch 2
If u believe that then you're an idiot...TOTK sales are amazing a 70 dollar game selling 20 plus million copies in only 6 months is mind blowing..Sony, Xbox and every company that sells software would sell their soul just to get those kind of numbers in such a short time....People like u said the Switch will fail prior to it's launch back in 2017 and now it's about the pass the PS2...Switch 2 will not tank!!! Switch 2 is not selling below 100 million units and if it sells 101 million units that's a major success especially for a successor
@@VendettaMassive totk cost 69 dollars not 79.. second the sales after the initial huge sales have fallen off significantly since... switch 2 will cost at least 400 when the original switch for years sold for 300 that is a huge price increase it will be successful but nowhere near as successful as switch 1...
@@roseforyoubabethey have to be lucky to land at 100m
@@therealjaystone2344 Oh wow the steam deck is such a threat and it's definitely more preferred than Switch 2😃 isn't the Steam Deck great? And struggling to sell 4 million units. Please have several seats because the Switch 2 will obliterate the Steam Deck, Steam Deck Oled and Steam Deck 2 in sales, hype and success!!! And that is not cap
