- The Mall of America is one of the top rated tourist destinations in the country and with good reason. It boasts over 520 stores, 50 restaurants, the country's largest indoor theme park, and easy transportation to/from the airport. But, with so many options to choose from, how do you decide where to spend your time? Let me help with my Top 10 list of things to do when visiting the Mall of America.

The Mall of America, where a Black man was ordered by an overweight mall cop to remove his "JESUS SAVES" T-shirt or leave the mall. All because someone was "offended" and complained. When he did not immediately comply, he was threatened with arrest. If I was him my favorite thing to do would be to sue the security guy and the mall for religious discrimination.

Would love to take my kids to visit Mall of America, especially to Nickelodeon Universe. So many things to do, so many things to see, shop and eat all in one. We will need to book a trip to Minnesota soon. Thanks for sharing your experience at Mall of America.

as a person from minnesota i can definitely say that even though ive been going to moa since i was a toddler, you can spend an entire day open to close in just the theme park and not get to everything. Not to mention that if youre going definitely plan out how youre gonna get to the parking garages if you cant walk because if you get lost on the way there it can take over an hour just to find the right building just for parking.

Wow, what a place! Where is this mall located in the States? There defenitely a LOT of things to do. The themepark looks like fun, I'd go there. And maybe the Jumanji VR, I love both movies!
It's in Minnesota. So many things to do. Something for everyone. The theme park is great and the virtual reality experience was SO much fun! We couldn't stop talking about it. Highly recommend. Isn't Jumanji so funny? Did you see the newest one? The first one was released in 1995 :O
Wooow, I have never been to a mall like this! I can't believe how much there is to do. Minnesota was not on my travel radar but it sure is now! I especially want to see the theme park here. I'd also love to go try all those drinks. Gosh, everything in this video looks amazing. Thank you so much for sharing!
Such a great destination! You can even go on a long layover at MSP. But, to explore the entire mall you'll need days!
Yeah I went there maybe 1 year ago before COVID happened and it was one of the best places I’ve ever been

This place is insane! We don't like malls usually but this one is another thing. The desserts look amazing and how cool with an ice room in the Canada Goose shop! Where in US is this mall? We are going to NYC in August so if it is close to there we will go there.
It's in Minnesota...quite far from NYC. Is that your only stop in the U.S.? If you ever fly into the MSP (Minneapolis/St. Paul) airport it's a must do from there. :) It's such a fun experience!!!
That's cool you got to try on their winter coat in a cold room. April would love to try the King Kong sundae--how many people do they say it's best suited for? We did an escape room at Lake Tahoe last year...we had a lot of fun with it, but were off to a pretty slow start and had to call in for a few hints. 😏 Black light mini golf seems like it would be very fun. Seems like you spent a whole lot of money here, LOL! Probably not within Go Travel On The Cheap budget parameters... 😂
Haha, well yes...visitors can spend a small fortune here ;p But, you could do a feature on the free things to enjoy at the mall as well. Ice skating, samples, interactive store experiences, etc. Plenty to enjoy on a budget! The king kong sundae is huge!!! April would be better off choosing one of the shakes if it's just the two of you. They are incredibly good!!!
Good point! Although we both can't ice skate to save our lives, I am afraid--LOL 😆 Now April wants a shake! Which flavor did you get?

Wow, I did not know you can get married at the Mall of America. I've never been to MOA but would like to go and try the Sugar Factory.
Haha, I didn't know that either. We were so surprised to see that. Yeah, Sugar Factory was a lot of fun and so yummy!
In "The Tomb" we struggled , MORE THAN IN ESPIONAGE and I don't think we escaped it! Uh.. it's hard to remember but I vaguely remember that we escaped from the espionage escape room with like 2-4 seconds to spare!!

Where are the top five places to stay? I would like to take my teen daughter for her birthday
We really enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Blu. It's attached to the mall so it's super easy to go back to the room to drop off shopping bags, take a quick nap, or anything else you might need. I've also stayed at the Homewood Suites Mall of America by Hilton. It's not attached but is within walking distance. If you can swing the Radisson I would do that. Otherwise any hotel within walking distance. Have so much fun!
Sea life is a one time thing. Way to pricey. Ive heard other people friends and other say they weren't to impressed either.

It's closed currently. They were going to open some stores on Monday, June 1 but now that is postponed until further notice. This video was recorded before Covid :O
