Just the information is worth hundreds of dollars. I have spent so much time and energy trying to fix my dresser, which is irreplaceable, literally. The place I bought it from has closed since, and it's impossible to find another one that would fit in the space that I have! It has ball bearing mechanism and I was struggling to get the drawers out coz the slides had come lose. After I chanced upon this video, I was able to fix the whole thing in less than half-an-hour. Thank you so much!

Wonderful, clearly demonstrated video. Junk was stuck under my under-the-counter spice rack and I couldn't figure out how to get the drawer out. Afraid I would break something. So I Googled "how to remove a spice rack" and found this. It absolutely helped!! The mess beneath has been removed, drawers cleaned and ready to roll again! Thanks so much!

Thank you so very, very much. Your simple explanation allowed me to replace drawer that had fallen out while traveling with my travel trailer. Would have been a real pain going without this drawer as it's located below the stove...large skillet and similar storage... and really helps to keep things organized; especially in a small space.

God bless you mister! Last weekend your video helped me remove side railed drawers- now today I fixed a draw with an under rail that was falling for weeks every time we opened it- turns out one rail had retracted, I pulled it out and re engaged it to that locking mechanism you described🙏🙏🙏🥰

Thanks very much for this tutorial; I had a drawer that wouldn't close because things had fallen out over the back. The exquisite irony is that among the bits and pieces I retrieved were the printed instructions on how to do exactly this. :-)

Thank you SO much. Just like everyone else, I was having trouble with a drawer and had trouble simply removing it. Whenever you buy furniture, they should show you how to remove the drawers, so you can maintain or repair your investment. Instead, it’s “Buy the warranty, then if you have ANY problem, we’ll just replace it!” Like I want to do all that for a sticky drawer. Such a disposable mindset nowadays. Miss Fix-it of my household and I really appreciate this helpful video.

Had my headphones stuck in between the slider for months and gave up on taking it out. Who knew all i had to do was tilt my drawer up to get a better look and now I have my headphones back. I don't know whether I'm disappointed in myself or happy that I learned something new. Probably both.

We purchased new bedroom furniture an item that was inside the drawer fell behind and then the drawer wouldn't close properly. My hand although small was not able to reach the item. I watched this very professional video and in a second I was able to pull the drawer out and retrieve the item from behind the drawer. Thank you for offering this Drawer Slide Tutorial...It was a piece of cake.

The KV 8450 soft close slides are great but it can be frustrating to get the drawer back in. The ball bearing cage has to be moved as far forward as possible (I find an awl helpful), and even then judicious pressure has to be used when the drawer is reinstalled to get it to work. Even with practice I still spend a few minutes on reinstalling a drawer.

I had something fall off my spice cabinet, and it wouldn't shut all the way. Couldn't figure out how to get it open until I saw 0:47 with the orange clips, which is what we have. A simple movement of the clips and the cabinet drawer was off and I could grab the little spice bottle that fell off the rack preventing it from closing all the way. Thank you for showing this....was driving me crazy for a while.

I just made drawers with slides. I used the Euro white wheel slides (cheapest) first. Many were fine but some were terrible. I found that using these slides your measurements have to be exact or they won’t work right. Later I replaced some with the more expensive ball bearing slides which are superior and have some adjustment ability due to metal side tabs which can be bent. Next step would have been buying the ball type sold by IKEA which are reasonably priced.

I bought a second hand wooden 2 drawer file cabinet. When you're facing the cabinet, on both drawers, the left side is able to start opening but the right side isn't opening. It has the silver ball bearing slides. I don't think anything is jammed in either drawer but something isn't allowing the right side to open more than ¼ of an inch. There's no lock so that isn't the cause.
Thank you for any help you can offer.
