@@rinnieunchanged its really just your choice. i think that lilac would be a good color no matter what the style is. even tho paint really makes a room, i think its the decor that matters

If you want to make the most of the vibes you could always have a real candle that stands around as decoration but s second electric light for light source reasons.

You can either start burning them outside to make them look worn and melted and/or carve a hole in the center to conceal the tealights!

Your "home conservatory" really does look so much like the various intimate common areas-library, study room, hangout room-from the small and very old residential college I lived in at university! Like your own study room, those spaces had paper-yellow walls and gorgeous old wood baseboards, and they were filled with a strange assemblage of antiques and hand-me-downs (and, yes, instruments). You've made such a cozy and warm study space, and I think you've really captured the "true" academic campus experience!
How old are you? Is this your appartement or a huge suite/room in your family's house? What is that view? How do you afford any of this as a student??? 😍

When you try to make your room DA but you have white furniture, white bedding, and white curtains so it ends up looking like light academia 🤷🏼♀️
