      Liking the glass door? Saw another channel mention they already broker there’s, wondered if it was worth it or should I save a bit and get regular door

    I have a very old, but still functional, circular dehydrated but have been considering getting an Excalibur. This review was very helpful. Thank you!

    Great *detailed* review, thanks! I found you while searching Excalibur after seeing Kristina Raw's dehydrated recipes. Lucky to find this informative video first. Loved it!

    Do you still love this model? Do you like any of the newer Excalibur models over this one? Thank you!

    I am thinking of taking the plunge to get this model, I am just teetering on either Amazon for $326 or throught directly with them for $365 shipped. What would you suggest since you had brought up the warranty?

      I have not dehydrated eggs, but some people have done it. This video of mine will tell you what you need for dehydrating any liquids. th-cam.com/video/n-J3W_UOO94/w-d-xo.html

      Sorry Cdubbs, I realize I didn't answer your question. I accidentally replied with an answer to a different question here. If the seller from amazon is excalibur or a liscensed reseller your extended warranty will be valid. Here is what I found on their website:
      FACTORY DIRECT DEHYDRATOR 10 Year Extended Warranty on 110 volt US/Canada models 3500, 3900, 3526T, 3926T, 3548CDB, 3948CDB, D500, D900, RES10, & EXC10EL.
      This warranty is available only on New Food Dehydrators purchased directly from EXCALIBUR, by AUTHORIZED EXCALIBUR RETAILER or by purchasing an extension of your five year warranty.
      I hope that helps! Also, sometimes the Excalibur website has deals! Here is the link to the model I have from their website: excaliburdehydrator.com/products/3948cdb-excalibur-9-tray-digital-48hr-timer-black?rfsn=6901075.77e7f5&variant=1106608422958
      Here it is from Amazon: (It looks to be DIRECTLY from Excalibur on Amazon). amzn.to/3vSUT9v
      I hope this helps and I apologize for missing your question!

    Hi can I dehydrate eggs too? If yes, what kind of tray do I need so nothing spills? Thanks

      I haven't dehydrated eggs but I have heard some people do. I have a video on how to create a 'bowl' to dehydrate liquids. There is a link to the product you need to create the bowl in the description of the video. Here is a link to the video:

    Can you use it with out using the timer at all, like just leave the machine on?

    • @AllAboutTheHarvest
      @AllAboutTheHarvest  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to set a timer in order for it to run. You can set the timer for up to 48 hrs. I usually set it for an amount of time that is more than I think I need. I check the food throughout the drying process and if I'm running it overnight I check the food before bed to see how 'done' it is. I then make sure to increase the timer so that it doesn't stop when I am sleeping.
