Awesome collection, love seeing bulk lots like this 😄 One of my first bulk buys was a collection of ~4,000 vintage cards for $50 -- in the first handful I came across 3 NM Vampiric Tutors, which I sold for $50 each -- that definitely got me hooked on searching for treasures while listing bulk myself 😎 I was wondering what you were referring to at 11:27 when you said you "still don't want to list below-near-mint [cards] on TCGPlayer for my own reasons." I'd be interested in hearing those reasons if you're open to sharing -- do you discuss it in another video? 🙂 Thanks for your time -- and the great vid! 🍻
I have discussed it before, but not in it's own dedicated video. Basically, because of the inherent subjectivity of conditioning, even with the conditioning standards TCGplayer have published, whenever I try to sell below NM cards, I immediately get into a higher rate of customer service issues, where people dispute the condition. Way waaaaay more people complaining their LP cards are actually MP than NM are actually LP Thanks so much for watching!
@@TCGBulkKings Ha, well that's understandable! Literally just yesterday I had someone message me about their order of ~60 cards -- they provided a DETAILED LIST of EVERY SINGLE CARD & why it wasn't the condition I had listed it as..... "this card has a scratch on the lower left & an indentation on the back of the card, with the edge chipping it's more MP than LP" etc. etc. for all ~60 cards. Their order was $16 & they really took all that time to write out every card over what they suggested should be a $3.40 refund. 🤦🤣😒
It's tough, but I will say that seems to be a rule they relax if you have a really large inventory. Otherwise, try to make sure you're pushing out your higher value items first, or potentially either sell sealed or crack sealed for more valuable targets. You only have to get in once, once they accept you, your in
Skills are almost all I brought with me =] but seriously, most of my acquisitions come from /inbound/ where people seek me out because of my content Keep grinding, Giovanni 🦾
Thanks for sharing- I would be really interested to see your developed tracking on the consignement. A model that is interesting but difficult to think about tracking at scale.
*rubs hands together* I'm so excited to dig into the bulk part, the consignment was a flash in the pan. Though it's going to be fun listing all the lower condition stuff on my website too
I probably will do so before long. Short version is mostly that I just do this content and be present in front of the community, and people end up coming to me rather than me having to seek anyone out. =]

@@TCGBulkKings thanks so much for the insight! Glad to see I’m headed in the right direction!
@@ron.quixote4640 best of luck in the new year, and be sure to let us know when you make it there 😁
You have some serious sourcing skill, you’re starting from scratch and your inventory is already better than the one I’ve been building for 6 months!

Keep grinding, Giovanni 🦾
That elephant token is so Rare in that condition I might have kept it...
I might have kept a second one 🤭
Congrats, seems like a great score for you! I’m very interested to see how you keep track of what’s consignment and what’s your normal stock.
I'll definitely get a video out about it in a couple weeks, glad it's interesting for you all 😁

I will try to get a video put together this month on it then, a couple others have asked about it as well
Honestly such a sick pick up! Gratz!
Gonna be a fun one to dig into!
Hey Chase... Im doing a conscription too, so I would love to kmow how you did that
I will certainly add this topic to the que then =]
Starting from scratch is so scary but you have the skills to do it all again and even better.
Thank you for that, really 💜
What an amazing collection of bulk+ to go through

@@TCGBulkKingsI'd be interested in the full art wastes
I think most of them were LP, but we can work something out, send me an email to tcgbulkkings@gmail.com
Congrats, this is the absolute dream scenario!
They gave you an awesome "welcome home" present 😅
Hadn't thought of it like that, but they absolutely did =]
Keep it up! I just got my store name changed to work on more marketing and would love to see a vid on how you market and pick up collections!

Dang, you beat me to the punch. I’m in the market for some marginally bulk cards.
Yeah, I bet, especially if the "marginally above bulk cards" include several hundred $10-300 cards lol
I need some bulk
