Here's a quick tour of the 2019 McLaren 600LT in Chicane Effect. Following the F1 GTR and 675LT coupe and convertible, the 600LT is McLaren’s fourth long tail model and current ruler of its Sport Series range. Like its LT kin, the 600LT is lighter, more aerodynamic, more powerful, more driver-focused, better suited to track duty, and production limited.
Power comes from a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 making 592hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic sends power to the rear wheels. 0-60 mph takes 2.8 seconds and top speed is 204 mph.
Prices for the 2019 McLaren 600LT start at $240,000 plus destination.

I like how you walk through what’s standard and what’s optional dude, keep doing it
Thanks - will do!
Mclaren all the way !
great job especially with the info on the standard equipment and the pricing.
Brad Buysee thanks Brad!
I think this my new favorite car. It's just gorgeous.
That cars gorgeous
That does look rather stunning..😍
Fender vents are to prevent pressure build up in the wheel arches not to add down-force.
I'm British mate I'd definitely buy this
I came here for the rev..... I got no rev
Screens can be polarised to 45 degrees so they are visible in portrait or landscape. A lot of devices get this wrong. Apple got it wrong on one of their phones or tablets.
4:12 The exhaust goes over the spoiler to add downforce!?
Nice review. COTY 2018. 👏😎👍
Thanks!
If you do a review of McLaren please get your facts right:
1) Those wheels are not the super light wheels which are 5 spoke wheels
2) MSO stands for McLaren Special (not Specialty) Operations
Plus fender vents are for brake cooling not downforce
carbon fender vents reduce wheel-well pressure and help with steering and turn-in. It's not added to cool the brakes.
Chill guys, what are you, track mosters?
@@michaelrslt the fender vents are to reduce the air pressure from within the wheel arch, thus increasing downforce..
Your wrong the ultra light weight come in 10 spoke as well if you go on the McLaren website it tells you that when spec-ing your car
If you ever buy mclaren this year or next year consider only 720s its the king of mclaren cars for price range of 300k
Updated 570s with cooler exhaust, but for that price i would go for 720s
720s is not better, its faster...
650 facelift looks like a naughty rascal with a treacherous smile😏bad boy huh
3:28 top right corner, that piece gonna split? McLaren quality issues 😏
JUST WOW.!!!!!!
Is the paint metallic?
No, this is more of a flat gray.
MilesPerHr thank you
What color is it ?
Looks like an impressive bit of kit ,
I like the attention to detail .
Color is gross
Sarthe or Storm grey ?
Sarthe
@@MilesPerHr Thanks for the super fast answer !
If Only no prob - thanks for watching!
Tasteful spec 👌 good review!
Thank you for the feedback!

McLaren 675LT is still the King. Great SPORT series car but its not LIMITED like the 675LT and its does not have active aero or Hydraulic suspension which seperates the 675LT as the SUPER series car. Cancelled my 2 600LT orders to buy a 675LT Spider
so many wrong ideas here... 675LT is an amazing car, still one of the best today but there are improvements in the new LTs that separates it.
first just the name sport and super series shouldn't be taken seriously its just a name, the cars are built for different purposes, doesn't mean its less capable, its merely marketing. sport series are about fun and super series are about speed, and LT versions of either is tuned for track.
600 LTs is still limited, you can't just walk into a dealer to get them, production is already said to not exceed 20% of their normal production and they have to make other models at the same time, from stats thats not alot of cars, and mclaren is not giving alot of new allocations to dealers.
active aero is good to have but not needed to perform well on track, unless its active aero like flaps on ferraris or performantes/svjs, the hydraulic ones actually add weight and slow to deploy, like 1 second deploy time can mean alot on track vs instant times of flaps. Hydraulic suspension gives you that magic carpet ride feel contrasting to the sport series traditional suspension which gives you more mechanical steering feel. It's based on preference but for LT most actually prefer to have the mechanical feel. So also not needed to make a car fun and fast.
The 600 has a more advanced monocoque that's stiffer than the previous, the technology is newer, and its made for both track purpose and to have maximum fun, mclaren did a great job on it and officially said on some tracks it can outperform the 675. Though I'd also have a 675 in the garage as well.
Production is not limited by NUMBER. They have said they will build it for a limited time, a time in the future that they have not confirmed as a finite date for ???? MmmmmWith strong order banks and staring at a profit opportunity they will build as many as they possibly can and stop producing other stock cars. Build to order is highly profitable versus building too many 720S to stock and then heavily discounting to match supply to demand. Don't buy a 600LT as an investment, buy it as a fun car and expect depreciation as there are likely to be double the numbers ( 800 coupe/1200 spiders ) of 600LT versus the finite LIMITED 675LT
Dude needs to "blow" his nose. Sounds way stuffy, or he's skiing a bit too often.
