suggestion. Instead of using Velcro to secure the shower curtain, use magnets instead. Put a color circle where the magnets are located to make it easier to align the magnets on the shower with the magnets on the bathroom walls.
That’s a good point. I went back to see the van again and test the shower using the Velcro and it did take more of a visual effort to attach it where a magnet would pretty much click into place.
I've been following Panoramic since they were just a concept. They've always been aesthetically gorgeous.. The chassis was the big negative for me before. Being on a transit, takes care of that, but I'd have to swap out the fridge for one that had a real freezer compartment and I'm not sure I could get past that shower curtain bathroom. I'll be watching to see how the transit version goes.
OMG, I want one! I couldn’t watch the whole video so I thought I would watch 15 minutes to start, and I couldn’t stop watching 😂 Came back later and finished watching. That is such a well thought out van and love the windows. Great video!
It is an amazing van!! It's been on my wishlist for quite a while.......😉. Philippe really does a great job explaining how things work and the thought process that went into design decisions.
Phillippe I know you want to grow, but ... please don't make so many more units - just to satisfy your new dealers - that you lower the quality of this van. I want to buy one in two years and hope they are as high quality as they seem to be now
While I certainly can't speak for Philippe, I feel pretty confident that he will maintain the quality of the Panoramic, he is very passionate about his product! Thanks for watching!
Yes!, I love all the thought out details. It's nice to see they actually use their vans to see what works and what doesn't, as well as taking customer feedback.
I started preparing for my retirement 3 years ago, and the most important project was to buy a class B. After several searches, I opted for the Panoramic made very close to my home. I am therefore the happy owner of a magnificent Panoramic since August 2023 that I love and that meets all my needs. In addition, I’m going to Texas soon. Maybe we will cross paths.
@@BeyondtheFern I cross my fingers to be at the right time in Boca Chica to see and film the fourth launch of the Space X Starship. I would like to visit the Nasa Space Center in Houston, and if I am quite heat tolerant (I live in Quebec), I would like to spend several days at White Sand National Park for beautiful photos of the starry sky.
For talking to someone who is in Boca Chica this weekend, I know it’s very humid and very hot right now. I have to be passionate to tolerate this, lol. And thank you for encouraging me for White Sand, because humidity changes everything. I remember Dead Valey in 2005. It was supposed to be at least 100 °F in April, but at least the dry air helped evacuate the sweat. Let’s say it was less unpleasant for a Quebecer for whom 60 °F is comfortable.
@@Francois_Miron well, I grew up in the northeast US and have been in Texas since 1990 and I’m still not used to the heat 😂 the Dallas area isn’t as humid but August still feels like what I imagine the inside of an air fryer would feel like 🤣 at least wit the desert it cools at night so you can get a little break!
They need to ditch AGM batteries. I cannot even imagine the weight of 600ah of AGM. I assume that is total a/h and not usable a/h. Roughly half is usable. This coach is amazing and very well thought out. However to be competitive in the B market they need to get lithium option. Lithionics systems are taking over and for good reason. There is a place in the market for AGM. But not for everyone. My wish list: Transit chassis AWD blackout window shades Lithium battery option Tall enough bed platform or spacer system as an option to fit a mountain bike in garage with front wheel off There are so many great qualities of this van.. if they could change a few more things this would be a unicorn of a van IMO.. and nice to see it’s Canadian.. 🇨🇦
The 600 amp hours is lithium not AGM, they don't use AGM batteries they have a 200 amp hour, 400 amp hour and 600 amp hour options for lithium. I would actually like to see more than 600 amps, maybe 630. Agree with you about a Transit option! I would like to see blackout shades for all the windows also, it really helps to block heat as well as more privacy when the lights are on at night ( so you see very little light coming from behind the shades) other than that it is a fantastic van!
Did not realize you could have the Panoramic shipped from Canada. I was one of apparently many who thought you had to buy the van in the US, have it shipped to Canada, and then go up there to pick up the RV once done. Glad to hear it's much easier to purchase! Love how that front table works... and the back bed moving out of the way! It's so easy!! That auto step is nice too... as a matter of fact... it's just a really nice RV!! Did they say anything about what brand of battery they use? Also... is heating with propane or gas tank? Be seeing you!
It really is a beautiful RV! Everything is so well done! I think the battery is Victron, I noticed the controller above the slider said Victron. The heat/hot water is the Truma Combi. That's what I have in mine and it works great, it runs off either propane, electric or a combo of the two. See you down the road!
@@arkadventure2why. Propane is very efficient and cost effective. Love propane so I’m rest assure I will not get cold even without power which could save lives 😊
@@arkadventure2 He mentioned that they are looking at the Transit but because it's interior width is 4 inches less (the east/west width) they would have to make adjustments because of the position of the bed in the current Promaster layout. @@BeyondtheFern Thanks for that. I kept reading the transcript and rewatching your video, and couldn’t find it. Thought I was going crazy. Anyway, here’s hoping they go with the idea. Now, the option of a pop top on a Ford chassis would be the icing on the cake 🚐 🧁

@@panoramictravels You made a great choice, not only is the quality amazing but it makes a huge difference when the company listens to their customers and stands behind their product.
The front dinette can be made into a sleeping space, although it’s probably more comfortable for a kid. Panoramic offers an optional cushion that fits into the space by the slider door that you can put a sleeping bag on to made a temporary bed that would fit an adult.
Prefer no propane, no power step, no power awning, otherwise LOVE it. Love the windows, especially the one in the bathroom. Hope to see you in Atlanta.
The Mercedes chassis is not wide enough to sleep side to side. Same problem with the Transit. The side-to-side permanent bed and the garage underneath is only possible because the Promaster is 6 inches wider than the other two vans. That is why Phillipe builds this van on the Promaster. So if Panoramic decides to build on the Transit, the layout will have to be different.
He did mention that he is exploring the Transit (not sure about the Sprinter) but also said he would have to reconfigure the floorplan since the width difference is a factor.
I'm not sure, I think it's about 4 to 4.5 feet deep but not sure what the height and width are. Visually it's pretty spacious since the bed sits up higher.
