Honestly, Zee is so good at teaching games!
Being fairly new to the board game hobby, our playgroup thrives on replayability and diversity. Having a low/mid weight games is sort of perfect as it must be super easy to bring back to the table if you haven't played in a few weeks
I get really strong old school Days of Wonder vibes with this one.

This feels like it’s in a similar weight to something like Dice Forge. The art looks great and should be easy to table - one to add to the list!

I love that you can fight monsters in this game, I really hope it gets an expansion.

Played this over the weekend and the only comment made which Luke raised is why is there some much shuffling of the cards! Overall an excellent 4x style game.

Played a 3-player game last night and had a lot of fun. Contrary to Mike's point though, I ran away with the game. I was slower out of the gate but was able to combo my buildings (5 total hoplite production, the one that allows for an extra bonus turn, and the one that cost one less hoplite for bonus turns). At one point, I got the water Titan that doubled my hoplite production and then steamrolled after that. Also had the building that allowed me to keep a 2nd Titan. With the mass of hoplites, I was able to go first the last couple of rounds and ended the game with my opponents at 3 & 2 points, respectively. I could have gotten another point that round and would probably be able to get a total of 8 before my next opponent got to 5, if the game had dragged.
Okay. Great review and I knew already during the playthrough, before the actual final thoughts, before the scores, that I would love it. QUESTION THOUGH: Where the heck can I buy this and why isn't it on my FLGS' radar???

She's been around, just taking it a bit easier atm it seems. Maybe Essen was really exhausting for her (which I can imagine).

I came here because of the movie.
Got the game at Essen and played it a couple of times since. I almost love it. Just the dicerolling when trying to "capture" monsters is what keeps me from doing so. Output randomness is something I REALLY don't like. So instead of loving it, I just like it
Lol…love the title. I would have also accepted…..”Git Yo Greek On….Git Yo Greek On”. I have listened to way too much Missy Elliott growing up.
The player board seems too small for everything this game is asking you to put on it at the same time.
looks so easy to get into and pretty enjoyable.
just quite bland art imo.
Interesting. After two plays I'm done with it. It fell completely flat, the upkeep is a mess, managing the cards on display is a mess, and the gameplay is so straightforward it is almost too boring. So surprised to see such high ratings! Maybe it is just too light for me
