Seriously a great guide for intro to Arcane play. So many guides focus on hitting you with what appears a convoluted stream of casts without explaining the basic relationships. (this includes the writers of the main sites such as icy veins who seem to take some knowledge for granted).

Such a great video, I am going to boost an arcane mage just to try it out and have it as a possible main, and this really helped with clearing up any confusion i had with the complexity of the rotation, really simple, not too fast and easy to grab, thanks again and keep up the good work

I havnt played in about 6 months but dam just seeing a video on wow sparks this deep seeded ember that apperently is forever embeded deep down in my soul. Somethin about this game allures me so much. But i wish i came bac and classes had new ineresting spells to explore intead of just the same ones with tiny tweaks

This guide is extremely helpful to me and the most straightforward guide on Arcane I’ve seen yet. I just started arcane a few days ago and I’m already learning the phase rotations really fast and having a blast. I’m a resto shaman main and I gravitated toward arcane because I want to take a break to try a DPS class I haven’t played, it looked cool, and it’s a challenge. Do you plain on making an Enhancement Shaman guide? Didn’t see one on the playlist. Thank you again!

Really nice guide. Do you have any further advice on movement mechanics?
I think because Arcane takes planning to play well; truly knowing the fight etc would be more beneficial than most specs
So i use a different build without orb barrage and it healivly focuses on arcane missile dmg and getting clearcasting asap it drops the aecane bombardment and extra orb and orb barrage for 2 missile dmg increase and mana gem. But this is a prio dmg build and your overall may be lower but youll be consistent and not at the mercy of orb barrage rng.
if we get the free orb proc from arcane barrage is it more damage to spam tht as much as possible with 4 arcane charges instead of arcane blast in aoe?
I have cleared elden ring like 6 times but this is just silly.

I dont know man, having lots of cooldowns and power spells make me feel like a true Mage. And trying to master a rotation is challenging but also so fun. You devote yourself much more. BUT THEN!, a bm hunter does a close damage to me with only pressing 3 keys makes me feel depressed.
But BM is SOOOO boring!!!! Like learning this was difficult yeah but omg now I know it; the fun is unmatched!
I loved this spec back in WoD but drifted away after it got way too convoluted. I miss it and hope for changes one day.

Wait why the delayed burn until 17 sec left on Siphon? This isn't something I've seen in other guides.
Times it perfectly with the rest of the rotation if you watch me do it you’ll see the timings all sync up when you do this

not sure what the macro is doing i made it but it seems to just activate touch of the magi and nothing else
Press it multiple times, it’s not amazing but it can be helpful

great guide but still an overly complex spec, I kind of don't understand why it needed to change so drastically over the years. Were people just bored of arcane and wanted to just hit 20 buttons?

Idk what im doin wrong … my dps is underperforming … doin rotation like its explained on mage hub for example .. i see ppl doin 1mio hits .. my highest hit comes by 200K. Max dps is 120k on st. Im 473 ilvl, 36%crit, 48% mastery. I absolutely dont get it 😩😩
And i just wanted to live the dream about big numbers 😅
