Quick tip: If you have 4 set, try to save buffed missiles for when the spears spawn.

I gotta get better at arcane. Been fire for a long time hopped onto arcane last week loves the flow of it but struggling a bit. It’s hard to get the rotation and burst smoothly

What addon/weakaura are you using for your spell history? It looks different from what you shared in the video in your description. Thanks!
How does the 4 pc missiles targeting work? Does it focus targets closest to your main target or is it around your characters positioning? When we killed it i felt like my 4 pc missiles were either only hitting the boss or maybe one spear but you seemed to constantly be getting a 5 spread.
It seems to focus targets closest to your main target, and it recalculates that on every individual tick so if mobs enter the radius halfway through the cast you'll still get a couple ticks of the 4 set.
We had our spear players stack very close in towards the boss in that tight triangle so that helped a lot with being able to reliably cleave the 4pc.
what rotation at Arcane when you dont have Set ?
Can you share your weak aura what shows where do you need to spread circle? I mean this one what texts (right 1, right 2). Looks useful 🤔

What are you using to make your damage a lot more visable and clear, and make crits linger on screen for a bit? Mine are just all jumbled and its hard to make out the numbers?
It's an addon called ClassicNumbers
Why you dont just pop out when u get bl with normal rotation? RS - 3x blast to make timing good for spear then surge - magi - and ur cd's on spears.

Why at the beginning of the fight u use arcane missiles only 2 Times in arcane surge big burst and cast 8 arcan blast without missil s buff?
I was either fishing for Clearcasting procs or holding off on Clearcasting to save 4 set buff for when spears spawned. If you link the timestamp I can give you more info tho!

Hey sorry I missed your reply. So yeah at that moment I was following the priority list of Nether Precision-buffed Arcane Blasts > Clearcasted Arcane Missiles > regular Arcane Blasts. I was getting unlucky with Clearcasting procs so I was forced to spam regular Arcane Blasts.
Once I got Clearcasting I also had 4 pc and spears were coming out soon, so I continued casting AB and held onto the 4pc buffed missiles so that they could cleave onto the spears.
I cant get my 4 set to hit the spears, i’m even letting nether tempest hit them first but nothjng is working. My guild and I have now proggd to nymue but I still don’t have a good igira parse bc of this.
Yeah the parse is going to be based entirely on how well your guild stacks the spears.
Trying to get them as close to melee as possible without hitting another group is not only the best for each player's individual parse but better for the raid as a whole because killing them quickly will reduce the amount of damage going out and subsequently the amount of healing required.

Seit is this Arcane mage gameplay with set Bonus ? I literally only See 2 Button rotation outside of bursts 😅
Yep I have 4 set in this video, and yeah during filler Arcane is pretty much Missles > Blast Blast > Repeat.
you go RS>AS>Abarrage>Magi... instantly? I thought you ramped RS to x3 stacks, then NT, Surge, AB, Abarrage, Magi... no?
Nope. Ramping RS to 3 stacks before popping CDs was the suspected rotation going into 10.2 but 2 days before the patch launched there were optimizations made that changed the rotation. I explain the correct rotation in my guide here: th-cam.com/video/ecs9TCi-7EY/w-d-xo.html
Any other guide telling you to perform the rotation as you stated is unfortunately outdated.
