man i remember that back in WoD, people were complaining that Arcane is just a 3 button spec. now theres a bit too many.

I appreciate the video man, I've been trying to get into Arcane again since it was the first ever spec I raided with back in Legion but I just couldn't get into the Kyrian Spark rotation back in Shadowlands. Been practicing it a lot lately and I think I am picking it up, scripted rotations can be a bit of a struggle for me.
Frost is a lot easier, fire then Arcane is hardest… you might enjoy frost more if u prefer unscripted? I have vids for all if its helpful. Mage can be really fun but definitely not the easiest specs! 😁

I wish Wow had a similar widget for classes like Final Fantasy Online has. Imagine if all classes by default just had a cool themed widget that showed when your main class cooldowns were up. Arcane mage could highlight when Evocation and Touch of the Magic are up. The entire rotation is based off when those two cooldowns are available.
Evocation + Touch of the Magi up? Full Burn is ready
Touch of the Magic up? Mini Burn ready
I use a weak aura to highlight these interactions, and just having a graphic that says "Full Burn in x seconds" makes the class 10x easier.

A lot of the rotation shown does AOE damage - and the rotation for AOE is basically the same, so you’re safe to use this for both ST & AOE! 😁

@@FylixAerou i think u would have to switch a couple of the talents for aoe it doesnt have the additional barrages or second charge of arcane orb i modified mine with the aoe build on icy veins and OPs to make the perfect hybrid one
I think I misunderstand something but why do we Arcane Surge before Touch of Magi? Would you want to hit Surge in the Touch of the Magi window to get 20% of Surge damage in?
because surge will be travelling in the air then you press touch of the magi before Surge hits, since touch of the magi is not on the GCD
@@colestevens6016 well, he said that about arcane barrage, not arcane surge. He is using arcane surge, gem, barrage, touch. So, I doubt arcane surge arrives before touch of the magi and I do not understand why he would do that
Arcane surge also throws up a buff that increases spell damage by 35%. So when you cast that first with four arcane charges up, which already massively increases the damage of arcane barrage, the barrage you send flying in before TotM hits does a crap ton of damage that gets added to TotM.
So is this kinda just like a hybrid build then? I actually prefer them because I hate swapping talent builds and then having to remember things like "oh yeah its not in build B its in build A" does this build perform close to the true ST and M+ builds?
Yes technically - the two builds I show are slightly different (basically one does more AOE) But the rotation is basically the same. If you just wana use one build then it's absolutely fine!

Seems like any AOE is for Ed around touch of the magi
Personally I'd go evo into radint spark into surge then two orbs then barrage and touch before it hits and barrage again then start your down time with the rotation is this not the right way of doing it?
The best advice I give people for Arcane is this, your going to suck at first, its unavoidable. Practice over and over and then one day your just topping meters in everything once it clicks. Keep going and researching the spec, this class is THE singular most rewarding spec to play correctly in the game. It is pure happiness doing 1Mil single target burst dps on a Tyran week and then just looking at the bosses HP bar and seeing it at 70% already knowing you just gave it the absolute deep dick.
Literally once it clicks it’s the best spec in the game hands down!

they kinda ruined arcane, it used to be so fun, with arcane blasts hitting for 3x as much. Now with mythics being so demanding on your movement with mechanics, its just unrealistic for long boss fights when things get rough. They need to combine radiant spark, touch of the magi and mana gem into one ability. Radiant spark also ruined arcane for me. It's too bloated with buff casts now. Arcane in BFA was really great and it hasnt been the same since shadowlands.
Like do this entire demo while running in a circle and dodging stuff, it's nearly impossible which is why arcane still cant keep up with frost and fire on 1-2 target m+ boss fights.
Yes the burn phases do lots of damage on trash when you can just stand still, but they dont sustain that on dmg a high movement tyran boss unfortunately. hopefully tww will fix some of this clunky bloated rotation.
I mean thats a lot of other ranged casters too, totally doable you can see how other arcane mages do on high keys

The rotation is pretty much the same in Raid & M+ for Arcane. And Ive shown the talents etc for both builds and explained that, so im not sure what you mean exactly
@@JaviHeals at what time stamp you discuss multi target rotation? Sorry if I missed that. Multi has got different build and priorities. I know they are not the same because I'm doing good in raids and I suck in dungeons. Was hoping for some real m+ guide.
This is a beginner guide to cover everything, I'll look at doing a specific, M+ / Raiding in depth guide that may be really helpful for you.
You lost me at the beginning of big burn phase..... Fire is much easier, you press combustion and you spam fireblast/pyroblast. END of rotation.
Not quite, fire has a little bit more involved in it than that. Arcane is more of an upfront learning curve though
