Everything about this film is a homage to the 70s tv show and it’s pure brilliance. From Lou ( pizza) The green pants Him walking in the rain ( same as tv show) Every about this is perfect. What a shame the MCU didn’t keep: The Incredible Hulk !
Although they changed the actor for Bruce Banner / The Hulk, the events of this movie are still canon to the MCU... so it's good you guys watched it for context in the future.
Here are some details about the incredible hulk. There is a 2003 hulk movie that is not canon to the MCU but should be watched due to the film providing backstory details with a better understanding of the character fractured psyche. Bruce banner has been on the run from the government since 2003 and despite being a renowned scientist no one recognize his face due to the fact Dr banner was not a showboating glory hog like other known scientist. Bruce only desire was for his science to benefit all mankind and in doing so he unleashed a force of power known as The hulk. The hulk and Bruce are two separate identities that share some memories. There are characters stronger than the hulk but given time he can be the strongest there is due to the fact he gets stronger than anger he becomes with no real upper limits other than Bruce's willpower to subdue the creature mentally. The Hulk skin is stronger then titanium steel with a healing Factor that makes him nearly immortal. If the hulk's heart was ripped out he would still be able to heal given enough time. There is a comic book that is Canon to the MCU showing Samuel sterns AKA The leader one of the hulk's biggest villains being arrested by the Black widow.
Although I mentioned it in your Thor reaction's comments, there's a Marvel One-Shot that expands on the post credit scene. "The Consultant" explains what happened after this movie with General Ross in more detail than the post credit scene, and is definitely chuckle worthy. Also, it followed Ironman 2, not one. Hulk and Ironman 2 occurred pretty much simultaneously.
Hey guys, just want to say that the audio balance (between you and the movie) is perfect on this reaction! The other (earlier) reactions, at least in the ones I have seen so far ;) has it a little hard to hear. Your volume is great, but the movies are a little too quiet. But I am an old ass fart, so I have that problem a lot. Hahaha Anyway, yeah, thanks and this was another great reaction!!!
the angrier the hulk get the stronger he gets theres not many marvel villans or heros that can take a beating from hulk he has killed pretty much everyone at one time or another
The Hulk and 1st Thor films were definitely 2 of the weaker MCU films. PS - It is still worth going back and watching the post credit scenes from the Ironman & Thor movies.
A great movie. First and sadly last time we see the real Hulk.

@MrDarkwing78 I'm sure a lot is missing 😄
For my money, Ruffalo's Banner is better than Norton's Banner, but this Hulk is far better than Avengers' Hulk.

we are!! and i agree so far but still solid to build the universe.
the 2003 Hulk movie is much better than this boring movie
Heck no. 2003 is way more boring. This movie is better. It gives 70s show vibes
@@lordvastor98 it's okay, you have your opinion I have mine
I like both for different reasons.
