The “sword” that Titus as a child is dragging along is actually current tituses combat knife it belonged to his seargeant. That was his mentor per se 100%
It's such classic imperial thinking to say "this psyker is weak and squishy, but we need to get him past all those enemies.... let's stick him in a giant metal coffin and drag him through the maelstrom of combat"
I mean, a lot of people either don’t know 40k at all, are devoted, or are at a point in which they want to get into it but know the bare minimum, cause we all know that lore is deep and hard to get into
I love the fight scene against the human cultist, it does such a good work to show the actual "transhuman dread" space marines are capable of. Something so huge should not move so fast. They are slaughtering ennemies without any effort, just like puting humans into a meat grinder. to them humans are merly sacks of meat posing no threat. you feel the wait of every punch it's incredible.
As a die-hard WH fan since 1999 I have watched this 11 times so far ... And it me Chills EVERYTIME I watch . If amazon gives Henry his full support and They keep their NOSES OUT .. He will makethem alot of money from this IP
I'm 48 years young I followed Warhammer back in my teens played space crusade and then grew out of it. Then about 10 years ago got back into the law and books. This is what all fans have been waiting for! The visuals the sound that bit at the bit at the end when Titus says "not yet old man" and he walks into battle with that choir music in the background made my senses tingle. What could a full length movie be capable of?
Yeah they take 10 year olds, put them through trials that will see most dead then give them surgery that makes them into marines. Diffrent chapter but when Dante from the Blood Angels went for his trial, i think it was a few 1,000 that went in but 20 made it to being recruits. Around 5 survived the implantation processes.

Wait that's actually a sick detail
You sure it is? It has bladed teeth like a chainsword.
@@silkyjohnson4208 Most combat knives have serrated teeth near the base of its hilt for a whole host of reasons.
@jordanwhite1547 after rewatching you're right.

I believe it also provides sensory deprivation to avoid chaos corruption.
good to see a reaction with someone who is not clueless
Thank you.
I try

The abyss stared into Tidus's soul, and he stared back.
His eye didn't even dilate.
