I had the same problem. The oil was leaking out of the cam gear shaft. When you remove the valve cover you can grab the shaft with a long nose pliers. You then pull the shaft down until the oil ring is exposed. Go to your full service hard ware store and pickup up a 1.9mm X 6.8 mm oil ring and replace it with a new one. They are very available online as well. When pushing the shaft back in place, make sure the shaft is oriented with the flat side toward the front. Then, before applying sealant to your newly cleaned valve cover, test fit the valve cover bending the shaft retaining tab on the valve cover to fit snugly against the cam gear shaft. Then apply the sealant to the valve cover and reinstall. Don't over tighten the bolts for the valve cover. About 7-8 ft lbs. Should take care of the leakage problem.

Hi, I went to my local ace hardware store but they did not 1.9mm x 6.8mm o rings. Would you be able to direct me where I can find one online ? I would really appreciate it !

@@mnardinijr Saw one guy say that the .010 o-ring from the Harbor Freight o-ring kit fits with a little force. It was a longer comment on a video of a guy replacing the valve cover. It was a pretty cheesy video and he made some Eminem reference after something he said about 1/2-way through the video. lol

I forgot to mention. Before attempting the following, Drain the oil from the engine. You will have a mess otherwise.
