Resurrection Of The Past? | Park Beyond Review

Over the year I played a lot of games and made content about some of them for the channel. Now if you would do a quick scroll through my videos will notice that JRPG or just Japanese related games is the most common genre in the games I play. And I would argue that those are my fav type of games to play these days. However back in the day when I was young there was only one genre I was invested in. That being theme park builders.
Now of course the mother of all theme park builders Rollarcoaster tycoon 1 was on the top. And while that series kinda fell off the genre itself lives on in Parketect and Planet coaster. However there was another game in the genre that I loved back in the day. That being Theme Park World.
Bullfrog studios took the term theme from theme park, dialled that up to eleven mixed in silly humour and the rule of cool to create this weird yet awesome theme park builder. Unfortunately Bullfrog studio got snatched by the devil and ever since than there have been attempts to do something similar like Theme park world but it never seemed to really work… until now.
Introducing, Park Beyond. A game that advertised itself as a theme park builder with a similar over the top ridiculous, silly yet fun and cool tone like Theme Park World! And I was excited for this game! Not only did the trailers strike the tone well but when viewing gameplay it seemed like the developers paid close attention and learned from the past and its current competitors.
Now is Park Beyond going to pick up the torch for this style of theme park builder? is Or did it become overly ambitious or is this style of theme park builder just out of style? Well let’s find out in this review.

I hate the fact that i can't put the entrance and exit of the ride anywhere i want like Planet Coaster. The game is fun though, most of the major bugs have been fixed

Yeah, Theme Park World is hands down the best theme park builder I've ever played. It was fantastic back in the day, and I see a lot of goofiness here in the design of the rides that reminds me of Theme Park World. It is a real shame that no one has been able to replicate Theme Park World. Park Beyond is on sale, and am going to check it out. Hopefully, it's not a pain in the ass. Picking up Planet Coaster and also Parkitect as well, but your review has swayed me into checking out Park Beyond first. I haven't played a theme park builder game for at least 23 years now, but after buying a somewhat up to date gaming pc, I'm now itching to play a good one. Awesome review dude! Cheers!🍻

@sj-30000 depends on what you hope that is fixed, the problems at the core remain as far I know unfortunately...

@@GreiratEinzel if the problem of customers getting stuck or are all unhappy even though you cater for their every need, remain. ..then what good is the game? Even no man sky fixed the vast majority of problems within 6 months, these have had a year.
So what core problems still exist?
