I know that feeling of looking ahead. The word of God is the best meal for the soul. No one should take it when tired or distracted, best one is most active. Yes, accountability is key.💯

You said two things that are very important that will not only help with consistency, but also with effectiveness.
First is meditating as you go along and not just rushing to finish and check boxes. At time I’ll say I want to read two chapters but the Holy Spirit keeps me on 3 verses for hours.
You also mentioned accountability partners. One year my friend created a Bible study club and that helped me greatly to stay on track.

I agree with you, studying the bible has to be a habit. I always do that, if I do not read on a particular day I read both chapters as my punishment.

This was so helpful. For me it’s having to be committed to keeping to what i need to do. I will start and then just stop. What can i do that will help me to keep on with my studying my bible.
