Stuff like this makes me so happy. I don't think about my own childhood, but if an entire gym full of people were so supportive to my own child I would swell up with every emotion. Very cool moment. The crowd literally went wild!!
Beautiful and compassionate. Every child should experience this attitude throughout their school years. Less competition and the offering of genuine support and affirmations would immediately make the world a better place.
Great job. Much respect. Can’t imagine the nerves. Brave to do this in front of everyone. Kudos to her teammates / classmates / opponents and crowd. This isn’t the nba finals. It was a moment that made everyone associated with it feel good and proud. In short. This was awesome 😊
They do say blind people enjoy incredible hearing, if anything this proves that. She's so sweet as well. Give this girl all the love you can! She can't play like everyone else because she relies on hearing to be as precise as this. When everyone quieted down and then cheered at the top of their lungs she did it! Disabled means able in my book. The teacher I presume with the stick should actually be hitting the middle of the net for her to get a better estimation of sound, she still did it regardless. It's close enough but when you really understand how well deaf people can hear just that little bit of distance from the center aprox 4-5 inches could have thrown her off but it didn't. Its hard to imagine she made that shot without touching a basketball net to feel what it consist of.
When someone says it can't be done their is always a strong gifted person to tell you to hold my 🍺 and watch. It's hard sometimes even with sight to make that shot. My GOD is real. To the family she's strong because the family is 🏀. Them 🧅 bothering me right now 🥲
Everyone hushes for her shot, and everyone cheers her success, even the opposition players and supporters. The true spirit of sport.

The silence made her focused and confident too. The croud was very cooperative.
That was such a good moment I am on the Zeeland unified team with her
Now that's pure support faith in humanity.. love all those beautiful people's heart..
Everyone in that room recognized how much harder it is for her to play than most people, that excitement is pure love.
Michael Jordan in the crowd:
And I took that personally.
That is amazing for her to make the basket.

Oh, that's so cool! For everyone to be respectful and remain silent so that she could be a part. Humans can be amazing when we wanna be.

It does count if you have a disability. Are you so stupid that you have to have it explained to you? Don't be so basic.
