Good thing I woke up at 4.30 this morning - I heard the rain and saw my flooded terrace here in Rawai. I waded into my garden in ankle-deep water to take my Sulcata tortoise out of the flooded enclosure - an hour later it would have been too late.

In that mall incident, the man may have been rude or wrong before the video was taken, we do not know but what we can see in the video is simply him trying to get away from a very aggressive woman who is constantly yelling at him and grabbing both him and the woman he was with. No clue if any more of that story will be released, but I can only guess that if the aggressor in that video was a man chasing after a woman like that, physically grabbing and cursing at her, then the aggressor would have probably ended up in jail. Maybe that is just my western hang ups speaking though?
ok again you have said that this rainy season is a dryer one. NOPE! where i am just outside Bangkok we have had much more rain than normal. ok so a dryer couple of weeks now but before that the river was just inches from the top, houses have had minor flooding due to drains not being able to cope with the amount of water and even you have reported flooding in the city too. Thai people in this area and very nervous about flooding especially as the next 7 weeks is when it tends to get worse
@@timnewtontoday well here where i am there has been much more rain believe it or not. river being just inches from the top does not happen normally until late september but was like it middle of july. statistically speaking compared to how it looks on the ground
Tim, your forecast is inaccurate your forgetting about the visa on arrival for over 90 countries that came into effect last month. This will have a significant boost in tourism compared to the previous 6 months.
That out of focus is not helping my hangover

Why so brief today Tim ? - could have spent a bit more time on some of those stories and still comfortably come in under 15 mins ?
