Happy Karnataka Rajyotsava. Love from India. We celebrate 1st November here as our Statehood day. So even I had been for a ride that day. Nice to see you ride. Cheers
Back in the day, 1988 my buddy had a K75S and I was on a 88 Gixxer 750 Slingshot. The BMW when on its sidestand parked when Mark would start blue smoke would always cone out. The oil would settle or drain from cylinders.
I live in central PA area and I agree about this time of year. This is my favorite time of year to ride. The only thing that makes me nervous is that it gets dark earlier and the deer are harder to see. It’s like Jurassic Park in PA when it comes to the deer. Be safe out there brother.
@@DadoRados haha! Yes, they sure are. I call it Jurassic Park at night. I keep looking for one of them. Cute little bastards to jump out in front of me. In Central PA turn around and there’s like 10 standing there looking at you. Be safe!
I have access to shop manuals, already took a deep dive and got familiarized. This isn't my first rodeo with this type of stuff, if you have ig you should check out my page. @dadomade
Hi from Danmark. My K100RS is such great value for money. A very realiable and solid bike. By removing all fairings, seat etc. i reduced 35 lbs which was very notable to feel. I also notice a little hesitation around 1500 rpm. like you, but was never able to get rid of it. The engine actually really likes to spin, then it performs the best. I try to not make this bike too pretty, since i enjoy just taking it for a ride without caring if it has a couple of scratches. Seems i appreciate the bike even more this way, it is a workhorse engineered to last many many Miles.
The "RODE Lavalier GO" is an incredible mic and plugs straight into the media mod. Highly recommend it, amazing quality. So keen to see more content from you Dado! Also in your gopro settings make sure to switch it over to "superview" or better. Way better for motovlogs and gets your arms and tank in the shot. 🤝
Loved this. My 87 k75s is stock, has 78000kms on her and runs great!! Needed the usual work after being garaged for 8 years, just recently put new tyres on and slowly attending to other details. I have various videos of the bike on my channel, no ride commentary though.
Love it! I just had my BMW S 1000 R upgraded at Hermy’s’s in Port Clinton and they gave me an R NINE T as a loaner. Love that bike! Super fast for a sort of sport cruiser.
@@DadoRados that’s so good to know! Although I’d rather go to you. I just know how crazy busy you are, and I know you only do it for friends. You guys are making them a lot of money because I keep updating my bike based on your videos.😎
I'm using ultimate add ons for my phone mount right now. Kinda a hassle to put your phone in . But I can charge and it's weather proof, and seems to dampen vibrations. BMW Nav. 6 came with the bike , so I could be switching to that soon if I can figure out how to use it. I know a rider that has had many K series BMWs.
I’m in North Carolina and we have some good riding in our mountains and in the Western Virginia mountains but I wanna come up to PA and ride those roads
Great video as usual Dado. Those smaller roads look just like the country roads over here in England 🏴..including the pot holes!! Looking forward to your next vid 😃
Excited to keep up with your content Dado, enjoying hearing the history of BMW. Great bike choice and the audio sounds crystal clear. I have a Monster 1200R working my way into looking more cafe racer style.
The charging unit does work well with the anti vibration. It is a bit taller all assembled but i had no issues with it at all. I was very happy with it.
love your riding views. I hope to get a k75 someday. been watching videos and some reading about them and really interested in riding one. thanks for the video!
Welcome back Mr. Sausage Fingers, loved the vlog, more of this please, the scenery was beautiful. The audio is perfect, the video quality needs to improve a little bit. 👌👌👌👌
Hello, I just discover your channel, and ...whoooo, amazing You're not only speaking about the K 75, but also, you describe what we discover near the road, and you talk about this and that, as if we knew each other... It's like we are sitting near from you, just on the back seat of the K 75...And Your the Tour Guide and I like this feeling very well ! So, I subscribe to your Channel, and I'm waiting the next one, very impatiently ! By the way about BMW K, Did you know that when BMW create the first prototype of the bike, to valid there technical engine choice they put on the Frame, a car engine, from French car, wich Brand and name, was " Peugeot 104" Have a nice day, John-christopher, from ...France ! the road is beautiful and the landscapes sumptuous
Welcome to the channel! Thank you for the feedback and yes! It was a 954cc peugot engine. The four-cylinder aluminum engine, in addition to being compact and light, was mounted at an angle of 72° and therefore was already practically ready for the use. There are no known photos of the prototype though, bummer.
The K throttle bodies balance is set at the factory and should not be altered! The factory set throttle body screws are marked with green paint and should not be altered! There are vacuum gauge ports covered with rubber ports to fine tune. Check these rubber caps are not hard and cracked. Check the intake tubes are not cracked and leaking as well.
That bike looks and sounds sweet! My first "big" bike was a K100RS, a nice stable ride for a young rider, and the ABS surely saved me a few times :P K100 and K1100 feels very raw, and a lot of vibrations that make my hands go numb. K1200RS is buttery smooth in comparison, and surprisingly nimble for its size. Currently my dad runs a K1100 that he loves. However, he is 70+ with parkinsons, so honestly it´s to heavy, so he only rides it a few times a year. Maybe could convince him to try a K75! :) And yeah, always fun with the twostroke jokes when you´ve had it parked on the sidestand :P
Kudos to you Dado for riding a scram/cafe(ish) \m/ I really hope your YT channel can grow fast coz mate you fckn deserve it!! Ride Safe! Cheers from Portugal and scram fellow ;)
Dado, could you weigh your R1 please, preferably with a full tank? I'm busy streetfightering and lightening mine in a quite extreme way but I never got to put it on the scales in stock form.
Sounds and looks great to me!
Thanks man!

Happy Statehood Day to you!
Great content, man! So much better without Jaret interrupting you with annoying and irritating remarks all the time.

Haha thats funny.
Turned out great, the old BMW’s are getting nice attention for new builds.
They truly are solid bikes and have a lot of character.

I would purchase a Haynes. I believe you will find it invaluable! I bought my 88 K 75 new. And have maintained and serviced mine since new.

The 2 brothers. Exhaust sound really good on the bike
I have been tossing the idea around but have other priorities before exhaust.
I will be looking at my first k75 possibly tomorrow

Central PA roads remind me of central NH roads. Tucson doesn't have tree lined roads like that.
Some of the nicest roads to enjoy are back country roads in PA.

Yes you want the vibration dampener and it will stack up with the wireless charger.
Perfect, it should be arriving soon!
'damper' not `dampener`.
