Not bad for not being tuned. With my Chrysler 300 tuned with full bolt on It was getting 13.1\ 104mph @3800 DA. When you tune it dude you will notice it open up big time.
I just today bought the JB4 for my wifes BMW 550i f10. I cant wait to see what happens.
I would try it again with a e30 blend and add a additive to cool down the temp by 30 degrees. Im not sure that it does 30 but it should drop it some.

Yeah I plan on tuning it with BM3 stage 1 and xhp, the results people have achieved are just astounding! There isn’t much info out there with these engines and cars so I’m trying to cut past the marketing materials and find out what’s worth the time and money investment and what isn’t (so far not looking good for these intercoolers).
Unfortunately for me there’s no E where I live, and I plan on running a lower temp thermostat to help keep the engine temps down as my car definitely was struggling with that… I prefer the original fluid intended from the factory as it’s insurance that the internal passages of the coolant system won’t corrode.

Man the new 650 has a more tunable engine but I have to say it sits way too high compared to the E63 (previous gen 6 series). Have you dinod it?

I have yet to dyno it, from what I understand Dyno’s can be inconsistent and can be manipulated to make it seem like the car makes more or less power than it really does. The reason this car sits higher likely has to do with the xDrive package, from the drivers seat it feels low enough for me, and it’s nice to not scrape under normal driving conditions :)

Are you launching the car from idle? Ive got the rwd model and a 1500 rpm launch gets her out quick.

I was also launching at around 1000 -1800 rpm… but that doesn’t tell the whole story. I didn’t have my foot to the floor like I was supposed to for launch control, plus I didn’t give it much time to build boost. This was done to give it a fair comparison of when I went last time as that’s how I launched then. Furthermore I still have the factory aluminum Guibo and broken differential bushings (like last time) and I feared something would snap if I launched too hard.
