Only if I didn't had chance, I rent kinda similar room in Tunisia and it was 5 times more expensive, but honesty hotel owner here are straggling to survive as couple years ago most of these hotels were almost empty.

5:16 TBH that's not the heart of Tripoli it's the abandoned district, most people live there are foreign workers looking fro cheap rent, or people whom can't leave for better place.

Security escorts are very necessary to protect foreign tourists even if the security and safety rate in Libya is 100% and these are the conditions of the embassies of foreign countries operating in Libya and the goal is to protect their citizens and this legal procedure is applied and known even during the rule of Muammar Gaddafi, may God have mercy on him. Sometimes foreign tourists do not adhere to these legal procedures and even violate the instructions and orders of their countries' embassies. In general, do not be afraid of anything because the Libyan people are very authentic, patient, wonderful, educated, honest, kind, hospitable, brave and committed to noble human morals and Libyan civil laws and each one of them knows his legal and moral limits well, which they cannot exceed and if anyone dares to violate them and cross them, he will receive a very severe legal and legitimate punishment. Believe me, Libya after 2021 has become safer and the security rate has reached 70% and we seek to achieve a security rate of 100% during the year 2025 and elect a new president Internationally recognized through very fair and legitimate elections under the supervision of the United Nations, Libya will return stronger and better than it was 14 years ago and will be in the future a major economic power in the African continent.

The old buildings in the capital Tripoli were built 90 years ago and have become dilapidated, and some of them were built 120 years ago and suffer from neglect for many reasons related to ownership and the financial status of those who own them and their ability to renovate or maintain them, unlike the new modern buildings that are cared for and maintained either periodically every year or every 5 years by their owners. Libya will move towards radical change in the economy, construction, education and public administration of the state during the coming years and in multiple stages, and it will be a major economic power in the African continent because of the enormous natural resources that Libya possesses. What Libya needs is comprehensive and radical development, permanent peace, and a legitimate government elected by the people under the supervision of the United Nations, and not allowing any country to interfere in Libya's internal affairs and destabilize security and stability for the sake of very dirty ambitions and interests. What NATO has done is enough. The barbaric and what Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, France, Britain, Italy, Egypt and America have done to the good Libyan people and to the Libyan state in general of very, very grave mistakes and destruction and support for dirty armed groups in order to obtain the delicious and very rich Libyan cake since 2011, we want to live in peace and in a decent and good life and more development and away from problems, we are a moderate, good, hospitable, patient and brave Mediterranean people who love life and everything beautiful in it, welcome to your second country Libya and I hope that you visit the ancient Greek, Roman and Phoenician cities in eastern and western Libya and other archaeological sites in southern Libya related to the civilizations of ancient man and the Germanic civilization and see everything beautiful in southern Libya.

Do they know allow us Europeans to enter without a guide. I read not....??

    • @خديجة_كورغلي

everyone can enter without a tour guide, just get a visa to enter the country. Most of you do not speak Arabic, so you can use a translator if you need help in some places. Just choose the elderly to ask questions, just in case، For trips, there is an application called turbo, it is reliable and you can use it to deliver to any place you want.

@@RaphaelIgrisianu We respect families so they can come too of course, and there will be no danger to them inshallah , just don't go to empty places or places where there are youth gatherings to protect your wife (no one will bother her inshallah because she has a man with her of course but just in case).
