Hallo @Test Prep Champions ,I'm writing my Social Studies test on the 27th of January and I noticed that your lessons and the lessons we get from GED is nothing alike, they don't even mention anything about the US Constitution or the Bill of rights, Do you mind explaining this? Social Studies is my last subject and I don't want to fail, I used your channel to study and pass the three other subjects but I'm concerned about the social studies.
@@mikemqmevents2558 Hi, thanks for watching my videos. When you mention lessons from the GED, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean that you took a practice test and didn't get any questions about the Bill of Rights, Constitution, etc.? GED social studies is more about reading comprehension and problem solving rather than memorizing facts. Also, the tests are randomized, so nobody knows for sure exactly which topics you'll get. That being said, the Constitution and Bill of Rights are commonly tested topics, so it's worth knowing at least a little bit about them. Again--the tests are randomized, so nobody knows for sure if these topics will come up. But they're some of the most commonly tested topics. My videos on these topics are meant to teach you the background information so if you get a passage on these topics, you'll already know something about them and you won't have to try to figure them out from scratch on the test.

Hi Michael, thank you for watching. As I mentioned in the video, there's no guarantee of what topics you'll get on the actual test, and so I tried to highlight the topics that you're most likely to see in this video (to the best of my knowledge). From my experience talking with test-takers, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights seem to be common topics that you might get passages on on the test. But nobody can predict the exact topics you'll get on yours, because the tests are randomized. So you may or may not get these topics.
I just want to know for ged test, can I do preparation one by one, like first I prepare my social studies till exam, and one I pass that exam than start the other subject, please guide me I don’t know anything
You can study one subject at a time like you can start with social studies and then do the social studies test, and then move on to another subject that is way much Bette than studying all subjects at once.

For my ged math practice test I googled the questions given for help and I found the answer choices correctly explained and given and I still scored 140 like what the fuck
@@Forever-gd7vs Yeah i pretty much agree. I just don't get it, I followed relied sources that helped me revise for social really well, i spent weeks revising for the topics, and it ended up failing me. i will retake the social studies exam again and hope that i pass, because i am fed up of social studies, and i hate it as a subject, it benefits nothing but failure.
Nobody can predict exactly what's included on your test. You may get some world history, but I wouldn't stress about it too much. You'll have passages to read to help you decide the answer.
Hi, thank you for watching. While I welcome all students who want to watch my videos, I can't guarantee that they are appropriate for students preparing for the Canadian version of the test. As of right now, my videos are meant for students taking the US version of the GED. Unfortunately, I am not too familiar with the Canadian GED, so I don't know how similar the material is to the US version. Sorry.
And I addressed important things in the video before the 2:05 mark such as what the list does and doesn't include, what you have to memorize and what you don't, and mentioned other resources to learn more about these topics. That's all important stuff to know.
Hi, sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly what you're doing wrong, and I wish you weren't having this difficulty. 142 is not far off from a passing score. If you can pick out maybe 4-5 weak areas of yours and focus on improving them, I'm thinking you'll be in better shape. Keep working hard and don't give up. Thank you for watching.
I think it depends on where you live, but some testing centers are open. I'm not sure if this helps you or not, but some people can take the test online, depending on if you meet certain requirements, which I explain in this video: th-cam.com/video/4RDu6mTctGg/w-d-xo.html
How in the beginning of the video you are going to say you don't have to memorize anything...and then 2 minutes into the video you are going to say these are things that you have to know.... referencing that these are things that you are going to have to remember "remember' (memorize) 😒🤔🤔🤦
Hi Derrick, thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. I always try to be as direct as possible with my instruction. I don't have time to re-watch the whole video right now, but I thought all I said was that you don't have to memorize stuff like dates, names, and places---which is true. You don't have to memorize any details like this. If you're good at reading passages/charts/graphs, you can pass without knowing anything going in. That doesn't mean it wouldn't be helpful to familiarize yourself with what might show up ahead up time. For example, you could watch a video on the US Constitution, and spend your time memorizing the dates and people and such. But in my opinion, that wouldn't be the best use of your time since this info will be given in the passage if you get a question on this topic. It would be better to watch the video on the Constitution to instead focus on understanding and seeing the big picture rather than on remembering the details, because if you forget them, they should be there for you on your test. Continuing with this example, if you've familiarized yourself at least a little bit about the Constitution ahead of time, it seems logical that it would only help, even if you don't recall the exact dates/names/etc. Bottom line--you're free to choose how much or how little you want to put into familiarizing yourself with the material ahead of time.

Do you have a source I can find that gives tips on how to answer “why is this the answer” questions
Sade, when they asked why something happened, explain what you know about why that happened. If it's multiple choice, pick out the reason or reasons that as far as you know best explain it.
They're not going to ask why the chicken crossed the road.

I think some places offer other languages for your ged
You can take it in Spanish

Bias and graphs! That's whereI get tangled up can u explain how to read graphs? And bias I just can't get what bias is or means
Bias is basically when you go against or don't particularly agree with a person, society or govt etc.
With whatever they are doing or saying
this video did not even involve anything on the GED social studies, I did the ged social studies practice test on the ged website 3 times, and the questions where nothing like what this video explained, you did not even need to know anything, the only topics that came up on the ged social studies practice test were government, laws, amendments, and a few graphs, that's it, so where are all the info from this video coming from? lmao

You can study one subject at a time like you can start with social studies and then do the social studies test, and then move on to another subject that is way much Bette than studying all subjects at once.
do you have any links on how to read charts? in arizona theres so many charts in the test and im sure thats what im failing on :(
I am forgainer and i failed science 2 times and now i wanna study social and what topic do i need to know about on civics and governmet
Did the social studies twice got a 138,142 have my last chance I got I pass
Good luck! Sorry to hear it didn't get so well the first two tries, but I'm hoping it goes better for you next time. Thanks for watching!

I need help passing the math I struggle in math and I have a question? What is on the math ged test and language
Hi, i"m from italy, when i come i would like to try this test, is it so difficult? how mutch answers it contains?
I have my test tomorrow!
Does anyone know any specific books for preparing these topics ? I’m new to ged.
I am having A really hard time passing the social studies test, because I have comprehending issues does anyone have advice that would help?
I had given social studies 3 times but i got 144 three times what should be helpful for me to pass social studies
I got that score today. Talk about a fucking joke.
@@jksvana there is seriously something wrong with the ged social studies and math, no matter how fucking hard you study and try you just always get a low score, even if you googled all the questions and dropped it down, or even if you spent 10 minutes on the test figuring out the answer and got an answer that's given on the answer choices you'll still score low, like what kind of a joke is this? For my ged math practice test I googled the questions given for help and I found the answer choices correctly explained and given and I still scored 140 like what the fuck
@@Forever-gd7vs Yeah i pretty much agree. But luckily i took the social studies test again yesterday and passed by 2 points, and to be honest i thought this second try i did yesterday was harder then the first try. I lucked out i guess by guessing enough of the right answers. and theirs really not much to study for when it come to the Science, Language Arts, and social studies. All 3 are pretty much reading Comprehension.
@@jksvana i find GED Social studies the hardest exam, LIKE OMG, I did my GED social studies exam today and failed by a few points with a score of 137!!! I was pissed because everything that i learned that would come on the GED social studies exam never even showed up, I watched all of Test Prep champions social studies videos for revision and nothing about the constitution, the wars, amendments, laws, the movements, all of the stuff that you get suggested in the GED practice videos on youtube never came to the test, All the GED social studies test were analyzing passages, and then a few graphs, and one propaganda question, I got so pissed because i studied everything really well to the point where i knew that i would do so well on the social studies exam, i spent weeks studying all the topics, and then i find out that half of the social studies test didn't involve anything in most of what i learned. I just don't get it, I followed relied sources that helped me revise for social really well, i spent weeks revising for the topics, and it ended up failing me. i will retake the social studies exam again and hope that i pass, because i am fed up of social studies, and i hate it as a subject, it benefits nothing but failure.

Is the test included the World History??
Please answer me, my test is next week
Nobody can predict exactly what's included on your test. You may get some world history, but I wouldn't stress about it too much. You'll have passages to read to help you decide the answer.

I'm in Canada is there videos will help me or not?
Hi, thank you for watching. While I welcome all students who want to watch my videos, I can't guarantee that they are appropriate for students preparing for the Canadian version of the test. As of right now, my videos are meant for students taking the US version of the GED. Unfortunately, I am not too familiar with the Canadian GED, so I don't know how similar the material is to the US version. Sorry.
2:05 what you actually came for
And I addressed important things in the video before the 2:05 mark such as what the list does and doesn't include, what you have to memorize and what you don't, and mentioned other resources to learn more about these topics. That's all important stuff to know.
Watched all the videos got 142 this the second time what am I doing wrong 🥺
Hi, sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly what you're doing wrong, and I wish you weren't having this difficulty. 142 is not far off from a passing score. If you can pick out maybe 4-5 weak areas of yours and focus on improving them, I'm thinking you'll be in better shape. Keep working hard and don't give up. Thank you for watching.
I'm going in wish me luck

I think it depends on where you live, but some testing centers are open. I'm not sure if this helps you or not, but some people can take the test online, depending on if you meet certain requirements, which I explain in this video: th-cam.com/video/4RDu6mTctGg/w-d-xo.html
How did it go?!?

I'm vibeing with the crackhead energy 🤣
Idk how am I gonna do the test

Unfortunately, I'm not teaching any GED classes right now, but I hope you find one that works out well for you !
Bottom line--you're free to choose how much or how little you want to put into familiarizing yourself with the material ahead of time.
all the more reason to watch history documentaries 😎
I wish I had some friends who actually watched history documentaries as much as I do😂
Thanks just pass social studies
