Well although I never planned to keep my 125, I just couldn't bring myself to sell him. By the time I got my big bike, I'd had the 125 a total of 5 years, and he costs so little to run and makes a great commuter bike for a short commute.

1 thing about 125's they would last forever... I have abused my little YZF-R125 like crazy and yet still run strong.... I would actually say it's my most reliable vehicle i own.
All my big bikes always have issues, all of which are small, but the 125 has always been running perfectly.
I'll never get away with half the things I put the little 125 through on my bigger bikes. Especially when it comes to neglecting my duties of maintenance 😅

How's your son liking the LXS? I'm thinking of getting either an LXR or LXS for my first bike later this year. Loved the video as always too!

He hasn't really ridden the bike much.
In fact, I've ridden his LXS more than he has, and I love it.
Not quite as much power as my YZF but the LXS is more comfortable, and more upright.

It's like biking 2.0.
Still biking but very different. The bigger bikes are obviously heavier, and the extra power makes everything easier, but I find I have to concentrate more.
125's are easy in comparison.
