Great inspiration for the Stevie. I’ve bought the pattern, chosen my fabric and can’t wait for the Sew Along. Good tips about what I need to have ready before I start.
I'm a quilter looking to add dressmaking to my skillset! I will be joining in on this sew-along and using some bulk quilting fabric that I have almost as a wearable toile... I'm too scared to buy a nice fabric for 10-15 a yard and mess it up! If it goes well, I'm sure it will be the first of many versions :)
This is great. Just got the Stevie, in part because I saw your previous makes and they made me look again at the pattern. I had previously dismissed it because the picture on the pattern envelope did look like it would swamp me. I have some lovely woven fabrics including wax prints and am keen to find some good patterns for them. Really looking forward to following along with you on this.
So excited to see this video! I bought the Stevie pattern because it's a beginners pattern and I've seen so many different versions, it seems to be very versatile and I can't wait to get started on it so I'm looking forward to your next video on it. Just a question though, do you think it would be suitable to make up in a jersey/stretchy fabric? I've searched Instagram but can't see anyone that's made it up in a stretch fabric, thanks.
Hello, I have come back to sewing at 71 and will be making the Stevie. I am 5ft 8in and am UK 12 top and 14 bottom half and I am fairly slim, and I was going to make size 3, but I see you thought you would make size 4 for a size 12. Looking at the finished garment measurements I thought I would go for size 3 not 4, but now I am unusre! Any help would be appreciated.

Great you are doing a sewalong! Will you use a lightweight or medium weight interfacing with that fabric pet? x

Sherry Aldridge hi, I’ve linked it on amazon in the description of my video. Or you can get it straight from the Tilly & the Buttons website x
