Hi Adele, I love your hack, especially with that beautiful fabric. It really works with the change in direction of stripes. I like the silouette you've created, but I'd recommend sizing down to a 3. I made mine in a size 3 and still took in the side seams. I usually make a 4 in Tilly's woven patterns. I still think you'd get that relaxed look xx
I think your hack is lovely and agree it's seems like it would be great in warm weather. Light and breezy. Oh your not the only one who hasn't got the pattern. Love the directional print. It's looks a bit like the moneta. The hack off's are great 👍🏽
I absolutely love your striped Stevie dress!! The different stripes direction is amazing. I don't think it looks too big, but actually very comfortable. The only thing I would have done differently is to add side inseam pockets in the skirt. Both dresses are fabulous!
I love seersucker, and it's been quite hard to find in the fabric stores. Will definitely look on line for some. I do see what you mean about it seeming quite large on you, but it is still so adorable!
Love your dress 😊 the fabric is pretty. I will have to try some of this soon 👍💕. Just trying to work out why my vlog hadn't uploaded yet, think there has been a small technical prob!! Looking fwd to our next hack off 😊💖
Love the dress! When you puled it tight, it looked like a Moneta, but as is, it has it's own look, and will definitely be great by not touching the body when temperature's run high. 🇨🇦
I love it, I wouldn't change a thing! A pair of flip flops or sandals easy breezy. It would be the best dress for wearing over a bathing suit to head to the beach too!
I love the colour. I sized down a lot (size2) with my Stevie dresses and made them a bit more fitted. I like the hacks you both did. You could make nice tops with your other fabric or wear a nude slip. 😁
Love your dress hack, you could add a button and tab at each side of waist to give a bit more shape without taking in on sides and risking issues getting in and out of your dress.
The thing is this is a boxy and loose fit which you said before you made if you wanted it closer you really should have used another pattern. I think it looks brilliant on you.
We wanted to do the same pattern and change it in some way. I love that through sewing you can try out new styles and since wearing this today I’m starting to enjoy the shape more
You could always wear a nude full length petti under the striped fabric. I think your hack looks good but it's a style you either feel comfortable in or not.You could always sell it .Ive looked for your partners hack and it's not showing.Number hack 1 is so I have the correct channel but she doesn't seem to. Have loaded it.
That was my first thought but then just fell completely out of love with the fabric. It should be coming up very soon so keep looking out, her hack is so nice xx
Adell your dress is perfect as it is no need to size down I’m so impressed I’ll have a go myself.
Its a shape that is new to me but it’s growing on me. I have it on today and it’s really comfortable x
I love what you did to the Stevie. Looks so nice for summer.
Thank you, maybe I’ll get some wear with it in the bank holiday sunshine x
I love it! Beautiful. And her fabric is stunning. Going to watch her vlog now.
Thank you, her video will be ready very soon xx
Great hackoff love both designs well done ladies
Thank you ❤️😁
Great hack. Beautiful fabric 😻
Thank you ❤️

I’m usually 4 in the woven patterns but think I can get away with a size 2!!
Beautiful hack! Love it!!!
Thank you ❤️
I love both versions I am definitely going to hack the pattern and I love the idea of the gathering
It’s so simple to do and breaks up the dress from a tunic style I feel x

Thank you, it’s been really comfortable today and even passed the race in the park with my daughter this evening ❤️
I love the stevie, I think I've made it about 4 times now. I love your hack and your fabric choice x
Thank you, I think it’s a perfect summer dress ⛱
Should I make Stevie one size down? Just going back sewing and not sure about fit! I'm normally UK 12, with hip slightly bigger.
I absolutely love your striped Stevie dress!! The different stripes direction is amazing. I don't think it looks too big, but actually very comfortable. The only thing I would have done differently is to add side inseam pockets in the skirt. Both dresses are fabulous!
Thank you ☺️I took the sides in so would have messed with any pockets but def planning that next time xx
I love seersucker, and it's been quite hard to find in the fabric stores. Will definitely look on line for some. I do see what you mean about it seeming quite large on you, but it is still so adorable!
It’s really a great fabric and doesn’t crease much too so great for travelling xx

Love you hack so much, you almost can’t tell it’s the same pattern ❤️
Love the dress! When you puled it tight, it looked like a Moneta, but as is, it has it's own look, and will definitely be great by not touching the body when temperature's run high. 🇨🇦
Thank you m. It’s a new fit for me but I have it in too and I’m changing my mind with it and like you say it would be perfect for warm weather ❤️
I love your stevie hack!!!
Thank you ❤️
I love it, I wouldn't change a thing! A pair of flip flops or sandals easy breezy. It would be the best dress for wearing over a bathing suit to head to the beach too!
Thank you ❤️ I’ve worn it today with my brown sandals and it is very comfortable
Your dress looks great, I wouldn’t change anything about it 💕
Thank you. The shape is growing on me ❤️
Love the hacks! ❤️
Thank you ❤️ x
I haven't made the Stevie top either. I want to, but it's a bit expensive!

I think I need to make a size 2 next as I do prefer a tighter fitting dress just worried about getting it in and off I went went down that small x
I think you look lovely in your dress and I wouldn’t change it at all it so young and fresh looking beautiful.
Thank you ❤️ it’s a new shape I’m getting used to, I think comfort will win over style!! 😆
Your Stevies are both lovely :) Shame about the see through fabric but it'd look great as a dress if you lined it x
Thank you, it’s so deflating when it doesn’t live up to expectations 😕❤️
Love your dress hack, you could add a button and tab at each side of waist to give a bit more shape without taking in on sides and risking issues getting in and out of your dress.
That’s a great idea 👍🏻😁
Thanks
The Ruffles could like you more on the bottom of the dress maybe🥰
I originally did think about a ruffle hem 🤔 maybe on my next make xx
@@ButtonPip I think its great to be risky! Its not an easy thing to do! 😍
I think you look fad in the dress and your hack idea is great . Cleaver girl 🤗
Thank you 😁

🐯
I like both makes, but I lean more to Adelle's dress.
Thank you 😁❤️
💝💝💝👌😁😘
❤️
I think on the striped dress, if you just add ties into the side seam then you can pull it tight when it's on but can undo for getting on and off.
That’s a really great idea 👍🏻❤️
