Congrats again on 2K Ray!! 👏 I love these open houses. It's always cool to see your favorite equipment up close and personal. I'll keep an eye out for the Metro North Comet Cars for ya! - Ryan
I think the big news is the haircut! ✂️ Congrats on the 2K subs! 🎉. You looked like an excited little kid digging in that bag of goodies, that is some fun swag.
@@garys0scale525 I got everything Gary thanks so much. I’ve already left for York so I haven’t got a chance to play with it yet but I can’t wait to when I get home !
Wow Ray that’s the cleanest railroad workshop I’ve ever seen I really like the employees engine and the New York Central engine and yes please do a video on the 1947 catalog thanks for sharing your fun day
Great show tonight Ray! First off, congratulations and well-done on 2,000 subscribers! See, nice guys DO finish first! A fun aquisition that 1947 Lionel catalog! A real time machine too, but just to give a little perspective on those $60 and $70 set prices. In 1947 $50 would have gotten you a Winchester rifle and $40 a Colt revolver. Lionels were top quality but they were expensive, no doubt. That Metro-North open house looked like an absolute gas! And wow, doesn't that New York Central unit look fantastic, my favorite out of the whole bunch! Thanks for bringing us along!
Absolutely cool, Ray! I sure looked like a great time. I’ve been in a number of locomotive shops in my career and that has to be the cleanest and brightest one that I’ve ever seen. Congratulations on the 2K subs. I just hit 60, which is way more than I thought I would get. Your channel is still my favorite, so much cool stuff, for sure. I probably would have closed all of those open knuckles on the locomotives, as that was an unwritten rule, back when I was working. Those diesels were real nice. I like the flared radiators, similar to the SD 45’s. Great paint schemes, too. An excellent video, as always. I’ll see you at York.
@@RaysTrains It will be a great time! I’ll probably get to York around noon to 1 or so, depending on how soon I can get out of Atlantic City and through Philly on the Schuylkill.
Ray great tour of the engine shop those metro north engines are amazing and man that ny central was awsome thanks for sharing and congrats again on the 2k subscibers you deserve it great content
