I change the oil every 3-5K using synthetic oil. It has the 2.4 Theta II which have been known to have metal shavings in them from Manufactuing and have recalls enabling or update knock sensor. But nothing to fix if you have a bad engine. They replaced lots of engines but so far, mine has 91K now and still doing great. Covid saved me over 10K miles in 2020/2021 since worked from home. My sister had a 2013 new and a 2019 and she hasn't had any issues with hers either. I love the AWD and can squeak 30 mpg on long trips. At least that is what the dash tells me.:)
I got mine a '22 limited hybrid model from an auction with some rear right suspension/wheel damage for 23k and it cost me 4k to fix diy using dealer parts and a mobile welder. With 2k miles on the dash, rebuilt after 2 months and back on the road with over 4k miles now.

I just bought the 2024 Tucson Hybrid N-line. I only have 65 miles on it. I’ve read that it doesn’t get the mpg’s it’s supposed to. I hate the backup alarm. We quieted it up somewhat because it was obnoxious. This car needs not only a backup camera, it needs parking sensors. I couldn’t afford the limited so I had to settle for less options that I liked.

I’m an owner of 2016 Hyundai Tucson premium and didn’t costs me anything like $400/year. Good for long drives gives good mileage on gas when on cruise mode. Not good for busy traffic bc it gives less mileage but excellent for long drives. Peace of mind overall. Reliable and cheaper maintenance costs, ❤Hyundai
I bought a brand new Tucson NLine 2024 1.6Turbocharged Hybrid in March. I love this vehicle. Last week I had gone to the road trip and I was doing 200+km/h and the tire sensor started giving me error that it cannot detect the sensor the moment I slowed it down it was back to work. I believe the air pressure sensor was having hard time to link with the system on such speed. Rest everything is perfect and I’m getting really good mileage with 4.7L /100km

My 2022 Tucson has been great in the year that I have had it, only real annoyance is that the gauge cluster brightness seems to have a mind of its own, dimming randomly for no reason. I've got the model with physical gauges and not one with the full digital instrument screen.

I had a 2017 Hyundia Tucson limited at 160000 km, the transmission(solenoid), awd coupler and intercooler corrosion went at a $6000 to repair, that along with calipers and rotors not lasting a year (3 times in two years I replaced them all) spurred me to dump it on a trade in. Than they must have woken up at Hyundai. Has the electric power steering got any better😖? I had an i40 for one year and never had so many expenses on a car before. Bought it just out of warranty with only 20k miles on the clock. Excellent condition and full service history. At the end I spend 5k on it and than sold it with a 3k loss because there was a wobble/vibration under acceleration which we could not figure out what caused it. I had pumped enough money in to this wreck. This was my worst year as a car owner. I was hoping Hyundai was at the level, or close to the level of Toyotas but that was a big mistake. They are not. But maybe they got better now I don't know. Doubt it personally.
My 2023 Hybrid Hyundai Tucson’s Engine Light started coming on after 5 months. It says the Powertrain with the code PO47100. The vehicle showed no signs of a problem, so I turned off the engine light with a reading device. It would eventually pop up again, but still no signs of any problem. Finally after several months, it started coming on daily, so I figured it’s time to get it checked at the dealership. They put a new sensor in, and it didn’t fix the problem. So I had to bring it back to the dealer. They told me it’s something rare that they never seen before. After a lot of testing they said they will have to replace the engine harness. This is something I know nothing about, but after describing it to me, it sounds like the central nervous system in a human being. I looked up pics, and see that it has wires, that give signals to everything throughout the vehicle. Does anyone else have information about this? Everything was working fine in my vehicle. It ran like a champ, and no issues with anything electrical.
Why the heck would they make that beautiful end line and not give it an option to have premium features? I was really disappointed by that as I don't think the plastic on the fenders looks as classy
I just bought the 2024 Tucson Hybrid N-line. I wish it had parking sensors and the obnoxious backup alarm is awful. What about the safety of the driver to not run into something😮. The backup camera isn’t that helpful if there are no beeps when getting too close to something. The govt is only worried about pedestrians. The 360 camera is the option that I miss that I had on my Limited Tucson. The engine is peppier though.

I own a 2020 Limited. It is a great vehicle.
I've ordered the 2025 Tucson and am trading my 2023 Ioniq 5 where the depreciation is €16,000 in 18 months !.
2017 Tuscon. Nightmare. Hyundai dealers. Nightmare. Never again.
Best car! Toyota and Honda are overrated. Hyundai is also giving great warranty. Not sure why people are crazy about realisability. Everyone would change by 7-10 years. I feel that’s max age for any ways irrespective you drive a lot or not.

J.D. Power rates the 2023 Hyundai Tucson as 77 out of 100 which is fair. Toyota RAV4 rating is 82/100
Lmao jd power is a scam
Even by JD standards (and they're pretty bad), a 5 out of 100 point difference is nothing worth saying "see, this is way better". Having said that, the Toyota Rav4 has engine crack recalls currently going out... none for the 2023 Tucson... imagine that.
Liar liar pants on fire!!
2018 Tucson 0 recall
2018 rav4 2 recalls
🤣🤣
This is not necessarily a good measure as some companies refuse to do recalls when they should (e.g., Kia and Hyundai with the anti-theft issue).
@@khepron
Lol, you don't know what you are talking about!!
First of all NHTSA NEVER ORDERED A RECALL for the anti theft issue.
Second of all anti theft issues NOT A SAFETY ISSUE so I don't think NHTSA has the authority to order a recall anyway
Third of all KIA/HYUNDAI NEVER MADE A CLAIMED/NOR THEY EVER ADVERTISED those cars as having an immobilizer. So you cannot claim false advertising.
Fourth of all an immobilizer IS NOT a mandatory features for a car unlike a seatbelt, back up camera or TPMS. So KIA/HYUNDAI NOT VIOLATING ANY LAWS governed by NHTSA..nor they are under obligation to install an immobilizer on their car! It's an option that the consumers can choose to have by buying a higher trim that offers an immobilizer.
At worst it's a bad publicity, but bad publicity is not a crime.... Therefore they are NOT under the obligation to do a voluntary recall...
Ok Hyundai rat so we aren’t gonna talk about how Hyundais catch on fire and refuse to fix them, get stolen with phone chargers which is indeed a safety hazard, get bad IIHS safety ratings because they waste money on trying to make their cars look nice even though they still don’t (Palisade updated IIHS side test) meanwhile Toyota Highlander which doesn’t look like a cheese grater got a good rating, and also let’s not talk about Hyundai child labor.

Another thing is, it's funny that you care so much about Palisades safety rating while here you are choosing Jeep Wrangler as your screen name!!
Don't you know that JEEP WRANGLER HAS A MUCH WORSE SAFETY RATINGS COMPARED TO PALISADES?!?! 😏😏
Not even considering Jeep Wrangler also have safety recall for RISK OF FIRE!!?!
Oh, the irony!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Check the last five years of KIA /Hyundai recalls ....worst record of all companies , serious recalls ....no thank-you ...Mazda for me .
it’s pretty cheap (pricewise) you have to give it that.
This video is full of fake paid comments talking about good Hyundai and kia is. Google Hyundai and Kia class action, check product reviews
That's doesn't apply to news vehicles years.
Bmw has been known to have terrible reliability but is now up in the top 3 for reliability. So no it's has to be specific to model year and make.
@@ixclusiverc if BMW is number three in reliability then North Korea would be number two in democratic country list
@skidrow-black I've owned f4 used bmw in the last 15 years. The worst i have had to replace on all of them was coil packs and 1x oil gaskets. All of them turbo v6 and v8 engine. What, bmw, did you own to give an opinion on all bmw?

All plastic inside . No leather besides arm rest. .loud cabin. Wind easily pushes car around . That does not male me feel safe. The car is too light in the azz.
Not true. I have the 2022 Tucson and it doesn’t have much wind noise and I drove it on two long trips and wind does not affect it much. It drives very nice. I like Tucson’s so much, I just bought the 2024 Tucson Hybrid. It has a peppier engine and it’s so quiet. The tires are very quiet Michelin’s that come on the Hybrid N-line.
I'd posit the only good thing about it is the external appearance. Everything is a snoozefest that feels like a wish list from 60 year old ladies. It's the most boring damn car I have ever owned.
