😊 seeing you work with your hat on is like watching episodes of The little house on the prairie. So every time I see your videos pop up I think yeah it’s Mr. Ingalls 😂
Very nice channel for me, Polish immigrant in USA. I did remodeled 3 houses & build 2 new. All work was done after work hours as tool maker, mechanical engineer, or during vacations. I was so tired sometimes that I was falling a sleep while eating dinner. Tremendous satisfaction when turning junk to useful thing, raw material to beautiful house, making 30% or more in profit on each. Build 3 houses, sell & house #4 you can buy for cash. The best business in the world for poor people I think. But take care of yourself, your back, knees. If you feel pain for long, go to natural doctors, chiropractors for help. My last project: turning 3 connected sheds, chicken coops, into guest house I did with last gasp of strength. I was 70 than. I am not building anything since but $ 25K invested was paid of by renters 3 years ago. Now I am 76 and happy. I did not wasted my life. God bless you.
Bon dia Joaquim. I flow over Portugal to reach Sao Miguel at the acores and i saw the amount of fires at the countryside of Portugal. I felt a heavy heart for this nice landscape, that on some points i know very well. Seeing the fires/smoke from the airplane, i felt very sade. And i had to think about you and your affourds to build your new home. I hope, you dont have to be scared about the fires. Greetings from the westside at Sao Miguel Acores. A very nice place by the way. Kerstin
It seems your son enjoys the living environment (maybe a bit rough at the moment) and working alongside you. There is much for him to learn about the land and what it provides. 👍👍👍
Quim, you're a man after my own heart, calm, collective, and thinks through before creating. Glad I found your channel, its going to be very interesting watching what you create.
It must feel so good to get the shop set up and having your modified solar truck on the property makes life so much easier. Lots accomplished this week. The grape harvest was especially nice to see - Thank you!
Today I arrived to your channel. I´m living in Coimbra since December 2021. Portugal is heaven again. I came here after getting a widower in 2017 in Argentina, where my father went and I was born ! Subscribed !! Greetings
The fire in one of your previous video was the way to make coffee... :) Then I saw the red sky and remembered Portugal is burning. Best wishes for a safe outcome sir.
Hi joakim.subscribed your videos! U r doing a very good job honouring your ancestors.im watching u from the easter side of meditteranean sea.a small island cyprus next t lebanon....i also worked like u for 20 years made a beautiful house on the mountain planted vines cabernet making wine had olive trees made olive oil....then july 3rd a huge fire came destroyed everything....
Just discovered this channel. Kudos to you and your effort. Just wondering why didn’t you protected the window frame with isolation before mounting it in that opening? Ideally you should have installed a “foil” before installing the window.
Did 37 odd years a little south of Canada , an area called United States. im still looking for my ruin , center_south of Portugal. IF you ever think of temporary assistance, please make contact.
Amazing washing the house walls and they start looking like they have been newly built :) Lovely to see you are not affected by the fires. Rain will be a joy (for a while haha ) Looking forward to seeing your tent go up!
Your dog is so funny! He doesn’t heed your horn blowing! He still goes at his own pace! What a riot! Sleeping under the tent deck as your sawing above!
Those flowers the “beladonas” at 14:43 are known as “summer fairwell” (despedida de verão) ou “ladies go to school” (meninas para a escola). When they show out, the summer is gone…
@@Joaquim_Conde Foi isso que pensei. Eu já o bebi. Não é branco de cor, mas verde de sabor. Se não me engano, no passado tentei fazer-lo com uvas da Niagara. Já não me lembra se tive sucesso.
Been watching the TV regarding the wildfires in Portugal , please stay safe Sir. May I ask, are you from the Quèbec area of Canada. Myself I am from Montreal.

Tenho a impressão que seu filho tomou gosto pela reconstrução da Quinta....
Faço o possível para ele ganhar apreciação por algo tão importante para a nossa família.
👍
What kind of wine will the grapes make?
Verde tinto, unique to this region.

Thank you, I’m from Ontario, spent 27 years in Toronto
Esperando a badaladas do sino lembrando de Porto PT
Parece que os teus amigos se enganaram com respeito á vinha😂😂
I see you brought your eletrical tools from Canada; what kind of adapter are you using? Or are they all battery powered?
Next year hook the grape crusher wheel up to the electric cart!
Was that a North American 120v plug on your ATV ? What’s the story around that.
Yes it is. I’ll be giving a tour of the UTV in the next couple of weeks.
Are you just doing the land ?
Any plans to move into the house ?
You bet
Do you accept visitors? 😊
It looks strange to me that you prefer to spend winter in the tent, not in the workshop.
I’m working to have a roof over our heads for when the wet weather arrives.
Thank you
Gott love our pups!!❤
