The unit charges via USB, and the cable is included. It also has a built-in tire inflator, and everything fits into the included case which keeps everything together.
The big question is will it jump start a car? I didn't have a dead battery at the time but I have tested packs similar to these before. Indeed, each and every time I ever needed one (fortunately, only to help a fellow motorist, never needed to use it myself), they've done the job without a hitch. It actually does what it says it will do.
Yes, it absolutely works! There's no reason NOT to have one of these, because you never do know when you'll be stranded with a dead battery, and this will be your ticket out!
But, this one is even better, because it also has a tire inflator built right in to the unit! Just attach the hose, set the pressure, and it will fill your tire and shut off automatically at the pressure you have set. Great if you come back to a flat tire, or are just looking to top off your tires as they naturally leak down, or the weather changes. Now you can have everything all in one, jump starter and tire inflator, and have just one device to go to when something goes wrong. Saves space in the car, too!
