We have the 18' Switch. One thing I saw was that you were having to rev the engine pretty hard in super shallow water. That can pull a lot of debris from the bottom into your impeller. Best if you're able to load it with the hand crank rather than revving up the throttle. Anything under 3' will pull from the bottom.

it was deeper than it looks but a hard bottom. I really just needed to get the trailer backed up a bit more. Granted that was the first time loading that switch on the trailer. You are right though. We definitely will do a better job next time. A little bit of practice,,,lol Thanks for watching and commenting, i really appreciate it.

Hey brother, just watched your video. Do yourself a favor for next season. Spray silicone on the bunks and that boat will glide up and drop in the water with ease! I’m in tidal waters with a strong current bumping in and out of forward and reverse will keep it from getting squirly as you are loading on trailer.

If you didn't do it. Make sure you put the bunks all the way down if you can to wet them. Then Pull the trailer back out until the bunks are 1/2 way. She'll slide right up just with the winch. No need to power load. Is that an 18' or 21'. I have a sport compact 13'. I'm going to get pvc guides for the back as the wind does like to kick the back out.

@@lzack8200 I have a Switch 18 and sold it. now I have a 2024 Suntracker Bass Buggy 16 that's actually 18"5 with a Mercury 50hp. It's a better price point and much more comfortable and durable.
