    I like how the handle bars are off center right from the start so it still has the feel of a 97 seadoo xp lmao.

      Good eye! I learned afterwards that its a simple adjustment in order to realign it! Now I know for next time if its ever a little crooked!

    I've had mine at 49mph a few times. Amazing boat, love mine.

      @@MountainStandardTimeWithLandon I have the 18 foot sport and I use it on a lake. Speed depends on how many and how heavy the passengers are, how smooth the water is and the wind. I think 49 was topped out. 49 was with 4 passengers with a weight around 500lbs and the wind was at our back. I did get it to 41 with my daughter on a towable and she wanted to go faster but that was all I could get from it. I wanted one when they first came out and I had high expectations for it. I saw a brand new 18 foot sport go on sale at a local dealer for 23k and couldn't pass it up for that price. This boat has far exceeded my expectations and we have used it so much since we have had it that my kids have gotten burned out. We just picked up a knee board and wakeboard yesterday and we will be trying those out today. The versatility of the boat is amazing. You can drive it like a pwc and have a picnic on it. I'm pretty used to how pwc's and it's pretty cool to see something this size act like a pwc. My wife has tried to drive boats in the past and she was always overwhelmed by them especially trying to dock. She loves this boat. She has no issues docking and she puts it on the trailer first time every time. My only complaints are having to crawl under the top when it's down which isn't an issue during use and the front gate could have been done in a better way.

      @@jkosh2046 Get the impeller upgrade, good for another 5 mph faster, also the ACE supercharged motor is tunable to get almost another 100 hp out of it, around 320 hp is possible with a tune only.

    Where would I go to see a seadoo switch in person

    • @MountainStandardTimeWithLandon
      @MountainStandardTimeWithLandon  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well if you're near Calgary, Alberta then Basecamp Motorsports is the place to go since they have them on display in their showroom! Otherwise you can see them at your local BRP dealership!

    How fast could you pull an adult skier on 2 skis with 6+ adults on the boat ?

    How'd you think the switch would handle the rivers in Alberta? Does it sit quite deep in the water, and what's it like on the plane?

    • @MountainStandardTimeWithLandon
      @MountainStandardTimeWithLandon  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's a great question! Unless the river was guaranteed to be over 3-4 feet deep at all times and debris free I personally wouldn't risk it with the possibility of sucking up debris and damaging the pump/impeller! With passengers on board the 21ft Sport sat just under 2 feet into the water at a stand still. On plane I do not know an accurate number for how far the middle hull sits in the water unfortunately!

      @@lloydbradley6183 they are very light and I've had mine in a foot of water and it wasn't touching the sand bar. I wouldn't run it that shallow. 3 to 4 feet would definitely be the minimum. If you watch videos of these at speed, they have a very minimal contact with the water at speed. Being light makes them fast and they can operate in fairly shallow water but also being light weight they tend to ride on top of wake which can make them bounce around and nose into the water which will bring the boat deeper in water and could be an issues on a river. If used right I think it would be great on a river as long as the river it large enough and has a decent depth. The hull is composite and probably won't puncture but it wouldn't hold up well to rocks unless they are smooth.
