My oldest son is in his early 20's and he has type 1 diabetes. But thank God for this piece of article th-cam.com/users/postUgkxibD_L3sDyYENL5CwePCd9plRBqjzw2mw At first he thought he had the flu and was lying down on the bed for three days until his sister took him to the hospital. They took his blood and it was 600. What I do not understand is how he could have gotten it, since no one in the family has it. But he is winning the battle now. This is a good stuff.
Uso nas aulas pra explicar sobre a entrada de medicamentos nas células...todos os desenhos e esquemas ficam mais claro depois desse vídeo...parabéns vcs são demais.
Great Video! Forgive me for butting in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you thought about - Patlarny Diabetes Ruins Principle (do a google search)? It is a smashing one off product for destroying diabetes without the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my cousin got cool success with it.
hey ,if anyone else wants to uncover how can i prevent diabetes try Natural remedy tactic (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my partner got amazing success with it.
hey, i've just realize. This video hv a little mistake. ENPP1 inhibits insulin receptor signaling, and proposed as a candidate for insulin resistance. Which is, can be a cause of DM type 2. Maybe ENPP 1 can be replaced by IGF in this video. :)
Insulin doesn't actually enter the cell; instead it attaches to insulin receptors where a bunch of little chemical reactions happen, and sends a signal to a vesicle that carries the glut 4. The vesicle (because it is made of the same material as the cell membrane) kind of blends (poor word choice) with the membrane, where the glut 4 acts as a passageway for the glucose to enter the cell.
@@maskone8881 I'm sorry but isn't it tyrosine Kinase that's actually responsible for absorbing insulin into the cell?? ENPP-1 doesn't do anything with insulin I thought.
@@AdrianGarcia-ww1ik From what I found, you're right. RTK is the name of the insulin receptors. ENPP-1 rather functions to regulate skeletal and soft tissue mineralization. The animation got the name for the glucose transport channel right though, GLUT-4 is an actual glucose transport channel.
watching that video beats the heck out of reading a text book and trying to decipher what the heck it is saying. EXCELLENT VIDEO. Would love to see other videos on other conditions
Obrigado.
Thank you for providing such a detailed and educational video about Type 2 Diabetes. This will definitely help many people understand the condition better
it seems that the process of diabetes begins with the destruction (or for lack of a medical term) or malfunction of the proteins inside the cell...provided the pancreas are working properly when they receive the signal that glucose is in the body. My question is what causes these proteins to malfunction to not let the normal process of getting the fat, glucose, and insulin into the cell and..
I LOVED this video...it was the best one I have seen so far. I wish you would make more. It would help anyone doing anatomy and physiology classes do better and understand the mechanics of the human body. Koodles to YOU!!
I have been a type 2 diabetic sufferer for several years. Once using the naturally treatment told through my friend, my blood sugar dropped from 310 to 98
Aren't the IRS proteins already inside the cell and not phosphorylated from insulin? Insulin binds to the Insulin receptors on the membrane of the cell which then binds IRS proteins to the channel? This video might be a bit misleading
Hay, i loved this movie, Just a few questions. I work with people with a handicap, and one of them has Diabetes Type 2. But he really doesn't understands why he can't eat candy,cookies,... This movie would help him if he'd understand english. is it possible to email me one where i can translate the text into dutch? cause he can't read normal subs, because the're to fast and not really colorfull.. And is there a movie specific that takes about the dangers of bad food and what it would do to his body? And again great movie ;)
Question. I thought tyrosine kinase (RTK) is the one responsible for taking in insulin, not ENPP-1 at all. Can you please clarify in case I'm wrong? Otherwise a wonderfully informative video.
works only for layman...not for medical students... protein like insulin doesnt enter the cell like shown in video. it activates secondary messenger pathway...
Materiais muito bons. Realmente uma pena terem legenda em língua estrangeira. Gostaria de poder utilizar este maravilhoso trabalho da academia da ciência com meus alunos com mais frequência

I think that's the long explanation of the ENPP-1 operation in making a system to deliver glucose to the cell.
