The wing mount is pretty nice. Eventually it rips apart but having a sturdy mount helps. The bottom bolts rip out and strip the threads but if you drill all the way through the chassis supports and put lock nuts on the back it holds really well. You’ll need to dremel a flat spot for the nuts to sit on. I flip the washer on the top of the wing upside down and use big metal washers on top of it to keep the bolts from pulling through. These mods will make the mounts last much longer. Good video as usual 🤙

I 3D printed the front upper and lower and rear arms for my Kraton 8s EBX out of Ninja Flex TPU. It was like a flopping fish out of water. It would get speed wobbles and they would buckle when i hit a ramp. It was super comical. 😂 I recommend trying it if you want a good laugh. It just waddles like a baby duck at all speeds, lol.
At the junction point you mentioned about the opposite circuit where you "would wreck" you could build a jump overpass so there's no crash zone on the laps.
Yeah I could use the jumps there but…. Wouldn’t it be more fun to have to dodge other vehicles?

The new printed parts from alot of companies seem really durable.
I bought both 3d printed parts.. decided to design my own after the ones I bought ripped apart. It held up to about 12 packs of moderate level bashing.
i used 3DRC wing mounts and front bumper on my Kratons and imo its hands down the best upgrade you can get for the price. My rigs take some nasty crashes and the wing/bumper take everything like it doesnt matter.
Did the Sludge have wing issues prior? It seems pretty tough compared to the Kraton. My friends is holding up good. 3DRC wing mounts saved the day for the Kraton I would break them every other time out. Hard to call that a bumper, seems like more of a skid. Gotta say, it looks better than the stock bumper... Wait, that stock bumper isn't a bumper either! is the body the real bumper?!? lol enjoyed the vid man keep up the good content! Interested in more mod testing!
The 3DRC wing mount flexes too much and puts all the hits on the body and shock tower. The RPM wing mount is the best of both worlds, Has flex but is still stiff enough to protect the rest of the truck when landing on the wing or lid rather than tucking in.
RPM doesn't hold up it breaks just as fast as the stock. There are ton's of bashers that switched to 3DRC and I haven't heard of anyone that had damage from it being too soft. I'm now running 3DRC wing mounts on 4 of my 6s rigs and no problems yet. Different strokes for different folks.

LoL imo wings are very useful with higher speeds. Most of the time on low speed tracks like I have they don’t matter much at all.
