    Damn that’s ridiculous how much has to come apart if I ever have to replace mine either on the XRT or XMAXX I’ll be putting the vitavon aluminum bulk head in , they’re definitely expensive but if I’m going through all that I’m not putting a weak part back in it

    Absolutely miss California. Absolutely do not miss that fine dust working it's way into every nook and cranny of my rc's. I like to wrench on my rc's but that dust made me wrench on em way more often.

    I have an XRT, and everyone says the XMaxx and the XRT are super easy to work on compared to an Arrma, after watching this video, that couldn’t be anymore false, this platform is 10x harder to work on than just about EVERY other 1/8th or 1/5th sized platform, what an ORDEAL to get to anything! Wowowowow.

    I enjoy the bench videos even though I don't own the rc's that you are working on. I like seeing how the different vehicles are put together!

    WoW, that part was way jam packed right in under all that plastic it great how you leave the screws in the part and holes for easier re-assembly later just another easier way of disassembling and then the video is also a great fail safe in case you need that but watching this makes it so much less stressful for anyone who wants to do the same - thanks for these awesome videos Earl M 🙂

    Great video 👍 I was amazed at how much the sand gets into places so fast ! But now we know complete teardownds are needed about every 5-7 battery packs if running in sand .

    Good catch on that broken piece buddy. I am always amazed how fast you get the cars repaired after they break. I put probably 8 hours into bearings , arms, cvd’s, diff cases, hinge pins, pin blocks and a new esc with the hard wired voltage regulator on the sledge over the past couple days. My back is seriously sore from fixing/refreshing my rc 😂 you’re a fantastic mechanic and I always try to do it the Earl way same as you. Keep it up buddy!

    Gee that's a lot of striping to get at that one bit that's probably going to break all the time. Some amount of screws. Can you imagine doing that job without a power drill. Wow.... Not for me I'm afraid. That takes the fun out of it for me. But brilliant that you do the vids Earl so when we get lost there's you. 👌🤣😂. Nice vid as usual bro thanks Earl... Oh and definitely agree there's amazing fun in the water and dirt .... Not good for bearings as I learned last weekend with my EXB Mojave.😕

    Be cool to see these with bigger motors so you can actually do flips and stuff in air

    • @jaredchampagne2752
      @jaredchampagne2752 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its not the motor size, the XMaxx has the same sized motor and it does double and triple backflips, the sledge hammer tires, or tires that balloon are the ones that allow for backflips, the XRT tires don’t stretch are much to make it spin.

  • @RoostedFilms
    @RoostedFilms ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That's some serious surgery for a damn cracked piece of plastic that may or may not affect how the RC performs. I could see why some dudes don't bother to replace them if they even notice they are broken.

    All that wrenching just to get to one piece? You'd be mistaken for thinking you're working on a science project. I know most RCs are difficult to work on when you're just getting familiar with them. But, damn, Traxxas, really?
